3/18 release: includes update to face model and facial texture. Wanted to change the hair texture on the side to more of a buzzed look but wasn't liking the quality so left it as is.






Emmanuel Mudiay v1.0
3/19 release: includes update to face model only. Face texture seems pretty good on default. Only some minor changes to the model but makes a huge difference IMO.

Nikola Jokic v1.0

3/13 release: includes update to face model and facial texture. A player so unexpected in the NBA this season that his default face isn't even of him! Texture could still use some work (especially in the eyes & eyebrows) but it has reached "close enough for government work" status. I would also recommend adjusting his eye color in your roster as that would also help give authenticity. I will keep an eye out for any more high resolution images of him and rework the texture at that point.

3/19 note: this is almost guaranteed to get updated at some point in the future as the more I look at it the less I like it.

Early preview of a model I have been working on for Nikola Jokic. His current model isn't even of him so luckily just about anything I do here will be better than what is in the game.

Still have some more work to do relative to the eyes, forehead and the textures but it is starting to look alright.

Nice job so far.

Stupid question on my behalf (I did search for this previously and couldn't find a clear answer). Is the eye color data within the FACE and PNG files? I figured this is something that is actually in the roster file.

Thanks. Unfortunately probably won't be taking requests. Primary goal right now is to clean up most of the Nuggets for use in MyGM. I may do players on other teams in the future (especially if I pick them up in MyGM).

How about a new CF for Jofferey Lauvergne

He certainly needs it. I am not ruling it out but updating him would be tough. I haven't loaded up his model before but if I recall it doesn't look like he has facial hair vertexes. So to make him look proper with a beard I would have to use another player's base model. So it requires editing one player entirely to look like another person which is time consuming. That is what I did with Jokic and looking back at it now the results weren't that great. But we will see.

It actually may be somewhat easy to make a new Lauvergne after all. Miles Plumlee is basically a dead ringer for him already.




I swapped out Plumlee's model for Lauvergne's and have it working correctly in the game. I used the Shrinkwrap modifier in Blender to change the body type which opened up a few seams in the model and there is still some clipping through the jersey. Should be easily fixable in a final version though.

Just need to go forward from here and actually edit the face model and textures since it's not like they are 100% identical. More doable than I originally thought.

Good ideea, man. If you make that hair black, plumlee is a coinc toss away from looking like Lauvergne

Got pretty far with the Lauvergne model today. A few tweaks still needed on his bridge & nostrils, hairstyle and some clipping issues at the chest. Then texture work. Real life calls though, probably won't have it ready for release until next weekend due to business trips.
