Ohh... I just put the turk files in scripts folder and siganims on 2k14 folder.. I shud put it in scripts folder too?? And dude ur mods not the one with virus.. its redmc u uploaded. Just checked mediafire has blocked it...

Not all are necessary. The ANM_2KXX, where as XX is 09-16 is not read by the game unless it is inside nba_animations.iff and siganims_generic.iff (with that, it means you replaced an original file with the Motion cap bigger file and the Mirror Motion cap smaller file). The game reads the animation based on the file names so just blasting those ANIM files won't change anything. Same would go for some non Anims in the patch like ADavis_And1 etc. game won't read that as it was not existent in 2k14.

I see all the ANIM files from 2k15 and 2k16 are all in .iff anyway I can open them for use in 2k14? or can you share your method on how you chunk those into NBA_anims and siganims?

I have 2k16 but don't know how to extract the anims like you did. I thought I could just import the ,iff to replace an animation but red MC import does not work that way.

Change topic real quick yes I did see some changes (Only collisions and some rebounds, also lost an animation for ankle break as I only have one or two variants showing up) and have been playing for a long time. I have been using gamez as well for so long that I do not see anything more changed in siganims it just looks like an uncompressed version of his work with nothing new. You would first have to find a way to get your anims inside and replace old ones. Just pasting it on the game main folder will not do anything.

About that virus issue I think this could be the cause. Remember you are sharing Red MC on your FB page (please credit Vlad, seriously he deserves it) and as we all know Red MC comes as a false positive to anyone downloading that so stop the fighting on that certain issue as people downloading Red MC should get that info from his thread here in NLSC "It will always show false postive" - reason because it sends info to a server upon opening. So I wanna assume that is the cause of the "it has a virus"

Yea it is i actually sent ppl to his actual thread but they couldnt figure it out with the scripts and placing them i dont take any credit for that i hope he knows that in my first post i stated that but i will state it again.
And as far as the animations when you open them they will be mocap and teasercap files you need to find away to convert those into iff format tho,and some of the mocap files work but they also need other files to work with.Im sure i can get more animations over but i need more time and researching,And sure you can use them i dont mind use them experiment if you need to bro (Y)

The thing is I can't even open those ANIM files in Red MC because they are in .iff format which i know is how it looks when you extract from 2k15 and 2k16. Sure i can open up siganims and nba_anims and see the motion caps no problem (I have been doing that forever), but the new files you gave us like ANM_2K16_POSTUPL_DRB_HOOKDRIVE_WIN_V2.iff is not read by Red MC so I can't even get the Motion data I need from it and dump it in siganims correctly so it appears in game.

I thought you could share that information so I could help a bit. Cause right now the game only reads the files existing (yes you need to take out a lot of files from what they are downloading only those replaced in game are gonna be read so a lot of the files you had us download are not necessary at all) and only way to update animations is to get those new ANIM files inside the proper outlets which are NBA_anims and siganims.

You can extract as many ANIMS and dump it in the game dir but if not done correctly you are wasting your own time and effort. If only dumping those .iff works then life would be easy right? To shut the idea on that down just try renaming any new sig animation to a current file like ANM_2K14_SIG_PULLUP_KTAYLOR_0.iff, or ANM_2K14_SIG_JUMPER_LEBRON_LEAN.iff, then go to player edit and see for yoursef nothing changes. Because the only time it will ever change anything is if the game reads it from siganims and not the directory.

I actually used winrar and winzip to extract the animations from the .iff files you can try that see if it works

Okay I just ran the turks exactly the way u asked and it doesnt work.... yes there are some animation changes but when I run the turks it turns all jumpshots to default....

Yea i havent had that happen to me,I cant say for sure whats going on there but i'll look into it see if mine does it are you using Meds roster too?

I will help in anyway I can but right now I think the best thing we could do is do a repack of what works and what does not work so we can let people try the files that do work. I will see if I can do that for you and upload only the needed files from your 50K files.

Next I would buy a copy of 2k15 and try the .exe and import .iff function. Sadly i can't open the ANIMs .iff files with winzip, winrar, or 7z so that method is the only other method I can think of of importing the .iff viewing the files and extracting what i need in Red MC.

I will post the updated package in media when I sort your files. (Y)

What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.

It isnt that its when someone takes me as a liar or whatever they want to take it or call me as i dnt have to do that is all im saying a little support would be helpful and maybe some hands on instead of all the doubts even with ppl saying they see changes these guys seem to say they dont which is understandable maybe something they didnt do correctly or another mod having conflicts but my 2k14 doesnt crash and isnt missing anything or im not having problems on team select or anything if anyone needs to tone it down its them not me.Im not being rude in any kinda way unless the rudeness comes at me first.I've never been like that.And Monzki im trying to help him with his problem right now
