Devilish, are all of the files necessary? There's approximately 50,000+ files in compressed file and its taking a bit of time to extract everything (been waiting for 30 minutes now and its only covered 30%).

I tried just extracting the siganims_generic.iff and it apparently only changed the dunks, hook shots, etc. (I can see the difference) but not the forms and releases.

What!!! It just took me under 10 mins to extract entire files... I think u need all the files.. There are a lot of animation changes like how players react to ref calls and some new bench animations. Hav only played couple of games using this but can see some differences.. Only problem I have is when I run the turk files in redmc the jumpshot and shooting forms of all players switch to default....

im almost sure about news screen in asso mode, you know this main screen with news from games, i saw some reports about missing screens there :|

Ohh... Too bad.. I really liked it... If this happens for me.. I will have to remove it.. I forgot to create backup.. Ohh now I have to uninstall and reinstall the game.. Thanx for sharing sko.

I've also received reports about this causing in-game crashing and one of my personal friends got a virus after downloading this and had to re-install NBA 2K14.

Not all are necessary. The ANM_2KXX, where as XX is 09-16 is not read by the game unless it is inside nba_animations.iff and siganims_generic.iff (with that, it means you replaced an original file with the Motion cap bigger file and the Mirror Motion cap smaller file). The game reads the animation based on the file names so just blasting those ANIM files won't change anything. Same would go for some non Anims in the patch like ADavis_And1 etc. game won't read that as it was not existent in 2k14.

I see, thank you for the info. So whats the point of the sheer number of files then?

Ok, I am not sure if I've been able to spot different animations as well, but I definitely could see a difference here:

Backboard movement looks smoother than the original after a rim-hanging dunk. How did you change that?

lol .. i think this has nothing to do with the in-game crash. maybe its on the roster that they are using .

Yes it was yours.. But that prob is solved now..Someone uoloaded a turked roster file using ur siganims on facebook.. I havent experienced any crashes so far... Only prob is that it has slowed down my search engine in pc coz of large no of files lol..

They were experiencing crashing in the team select screen without using any modified roster.

Why would I lie about such a thing? People have said so themselves, I'm just saying what they're saying. You don't have to be mad, you just need to explain. But with very little details about this mod, I don't think you're that good at explaining anyway.

There's no need to badmouth me, pretending to know who I am when you don't. If you want, you can confirm the virus issue with the one who experienced it himself.

I'm not discouraging people to use this mod, I'm just telling people to be careful with these "new" mods like skoadam did because these are the most common things to create errors in the game. "HD" files, animation mods, jukebox, scoreboard and logos mods usually mess up the game if not done properly.

If you want proof, I have screenshots of people asking me questions why their gamw started messing up only after downloading this, I have no problem showing you that I'm not lying. But you have to relax and watch your tone.

Ugh!! Sorry... just tried that "turked roster" it didnt work... the one who posted it told it wud work. It doesnt.. sorry mate...
