2015-2016 Season Chatter: January 18th-24th

Tue Jan 19, 2016 8:14 am

It's a new week of NBA action, so if you want to discuss the games taking place from January 18th through 24th, here's a thread just for you!

Kemba Walker just scored 52 points for a new career high and in doing so, now holds the record for most points scored in a game played on Martin Luther King Day.

About ready to turn the Warriors/Cavs game off. Can barely call it a game, the way the Cavs are playing.

Well... that's the East this year. Teams are generally better but top teams are not much.

Just when you thought GSW was gonna run away, the Spurs have creeped up to be a real challenger. Gap between these two teams have closed in. What a season.

Amazing. Kemba's playing pretty good this year.

Overall that was a pretty exciting day in the nba and I got to watch most of the games live (thank you MLk)

The warriors are the best team I've seen since the 96 Bulls hands down, just the way they beat teams there not in many close games that's for sure.

Watched the knicks/Sixers and it made me so happy to see Philly with so much fight, they just have a different outlook now (which clearly isn't just playing Rooks) I love what Carl Landry brings to them and you can see Elton Brand talking to the young guys.

But the Sixers clearly went out there way to lose last year and the start of this season because Ish Smith played the same way putting up the same type numbers and they just let him walk, when a team finds a player cheap who is batting way above there average you keep hold of him you get his bird rights.

that's just embarrassing for Cleveland to get blown out at home. the champagne comments were great by Curry. great chance for the Cavs to make him eat his words but Curry continues to enjoys the spoils of victory

I won't start a new thread over this, but does anyone know if there is a place on the internet where teams jerseys colors are announced before a game ? I know the NBA officials have the colors to be worn at the start of the season, Cavs have their personal online jersey schedule, but for the other teams I can't find anything. Any ideas ?

Maybe you can try each team schedule/promotion link off of nba.com?

If you mean the preview pages for every game from nba.com, thanks but jerseys color are nowhere to be found there. I guess this kind of information is top secret or irrelevant for the fans. Probably the second one.

Chris Paul DeAndre Jordan are just connecting on alleyoops all over Robin Lopez, and he finally got frustrated and slapped Chris Paul after Chris used his forearm to block Lopez out a bit after Lopez missed a tip in. Lopez ejected on 2 techs, and a tech for DJ and Chris Paul. I don't know what CP3 got a tech for.

So glancing at the poll, not a lot of people have voted this week, but everyone who has so far has picked the Spurs to beat the Warriors.

I like the weekly pool, keep it going please (Y) Warriors vs Spurs game was the most interesting part at the start of the week (nobody could've predicted Blatt getting fired).

That's definitely the idea. The weekly threads are open to anyone to create, if you're quick enough, and have a better idea for a poll. ;)

Tried League Pass then because our mobile network here offers a day pass, and it's great. You could choose what game to watch.

You must have a really good internet connection for it to stream smoothly and to fully utilize the HD quality.

Personally, I loved the truncated games that were only 35 minutes long on league pass broadband. Mobile was even better than digital tv because you could select the broadcast type of home or away.

I can't knock LP for where I live after 25 years of struggling to watch knicks games staying up up till 3am starting work at 8!

I've got 6-8meg BB and the live games flutter between HD and DVD quality every 10-15 mins but if I watch just a couple of hours later (in the morning) I get full perfect HD throughout the game.

Is Cousins-Rondo duo the best 1-2 pg-center combo in the league? Their supporting cast is laughable but they are creeping up the ladders and in the playoffs picture as of this moment. Amazing performance again by this duo tonight.
