Bledsoe done for the season: What to do now PHX?

Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe today underwent successful surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the 2015-16 season. His prognosis is for a return to full playing status for the start of training camp next fall.

His left knee is trouble. But it seems problem is bigger in PHX.

- Markieff seems to hold grudge against the team for sending his brother away. Another reason is that they allegedly signed under their market value with PHX to play together. Markieff thinks he got screwed.

- The group has not lived up to their potential so far. The current squad has better talent than Dragic-Bledsoe led PHX couple seasons ago but is achieving far less.

- Is Jeff Hornacek part of the problem? Should he be fired and replaced by Corliss Williams or Ray Allen like in corymach's wet dream?

Yuuup. Totally a NBA 2K16 MyGM mode, AI logic.

Phoenix weren't going anywhere even with Bledsoe healthy. Kuddos to Dragic for abandoning a sinking boat. Morris' emotional ass is leaving Phoenix anyway and they need someone back who is willing to commit to a poorly managed team. Hard to find one of those

Coach Luke Walton will fix things next season.

Suns need their own Hinkie. Time to blow it up and tank like they should have a couple seasons ago.

Bledsoe was playing great this season, it's a shame for him. Do we know if he's having his meniscus removed?

Report: Markieff Morris Can Only Return To The Suns If He Apologizes

For Markieff Morris to reclaim his season from the depths of hell in which it currently resides, he’ll need to change his behavior. Sure, he’s been underperforming in the box score, but it’s his moodiness — culminating in a towel-throwing incident that got him suspended for two games — that has put him in head coach Jeff Hornacek’s dog house. And it’s that attitude that Suns leadership is demanding he change.

Though ‘Kieff has already served the two-game suspension the Suns levied at him, according to Yahoo’s Marc Spears, his return is still predicated on an apology to his coach, GM and team president. He’s expected to do so at a meeting before the team practices on Tuesday, after which he’ll be permitted to rejoin his teammates if he satisfies the higher-ups.

While Morris may have valid reasons for feeling miffed, he's not handling the situation well at all. He does need to pull his head in, and an apology via text and social media isn't really sufficient. Still...the Suns are also treating him like a child there, and while some might argue it's fitting given his attitude, I don't think it's doing much to smooth things over. It's a little weird to call it a two game suspension, and then once it's up, add further conditions to him being allowed to return. To me, that sounds more like an indefinite suspension, and an attempt to pile further sanctions on top of a punishment that was already decided upon (and subsequently served). In short, I think both sides are handling it poorly, and a split seems inevitable. Too bad for Morris that the Robert Horry approach didn't work.

It's a shame, Bled was having the best season of his life!

As a Suns fan since 2001 the Markieff saga is ripping the Suns, he clearly said that his future is not in Phoenix.... and after some "apologyes" the Suns started licking is balls as if he was Lebron! They should trade him for anything, just to change the locker room chemistry!

Now.... it's too late to make adjustmets this season.... sadly Hornacek should ve fired, bring Thunder Dan!

What is Hornacek doing? TJ Warren played game of his career in the last game as a starter and he's replaced by Leuer in the very next game with no good explanation? Well, tonight Warren failed to score, rebound, steal, assist in 21 minutes. 1 block 1 TO and 3 missed FG is all he had. Find your young guys some consistency, Jeff!

That's good, he's not doing the "quick snip" that would fuck up his knees

That? I don't see him getting fired during the season like George Karl. It's all on the players in PHX.

As for MIL, my question on the Bucks is now:

Is John Hammond (The GM) part of the problem on why the Bucks are doing terrible? Should he be replaced by Kurt Thomas?

This is for CHI:

Even with the wins, Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose don't like each other. Is Hoiberg letting that go? Should he be replaced by Ray Allen?

As for SAC:

Cousins gets angry with the losses. Is George Karl part of the problem? Should he be replaced by Corliss Williamson?

In NO:

1. Are the Pelicans having injury problems?

2. Is Alvin Gentry part of the problem? Should he be replaced by Kevin McHale?

How about MIA?

Should Riley and Spoelstra replaced by Larry Brown and Reggie Miller?

For shame the bledsoe injury. I think in their rebuilding effort there were some good moves. Getting 2 x1st round picks for dragic when he wanted out was a coup. Trading the Lakers pick and Isaiah/giving knight the big contract doesn't look good

Tyson Chandler has been a bust but his signing made sense while Len developed.

Too bad Morris is a big baby. He has a good skillset and is on a great contract. Any decent team with some cap should be buying low on him, despite the baggage. Not taking into account the$, he would be great for the cavs

The bledsoe injury may be a blessing in disguise. It sealed their lost season and they already have a few 1st rnd picks. Plus they get to see what they have in booker and Warren.
