Cannot access hard disk

i've been playing live without problem for a year..recently..2 days ago..i try to start nbalive...it goes to the vince carter screen..usually it will go to a blank screen..then 'ea sports,its in the game'..but this time..before it reaches the EA sports screen..an error pops out and say that nba live 004:cannot access hard disk.i tried running fifa...the game doesnt work too..it did not have any error..instead it just bring me back to the desktop.i was thinking if there is anything wron with the hard disk.so i ran the diagnostic test to check if its working...the result is a pass..that means theres no problem with my hard disk..can anyone help me out here?
