The man, slimm44, has updated Coaching Profiles, so that in the next roster update, teams should play styles closer to their own. Also, if you know of teams specifically who play Zone Defense, please post them. I know Syracuse plays their famous high 3-2, and Duke played it tonight as well against Siena. I know that Baylor played Zone when Isaiah Austin was there, and think they still do, but I'm unsure. Who else plays a base Zone D? Anyone?? There's gotta be.

UC Irvine plays mostly zone with 7'6" Mamadou N'Diaye in the middle

im still getting CTD myself no matter this mod or urb, smh guess i gotta retire and go on to console, black friday sale here i come... thx for the mods guys but looks like its done, i know its not windows 10 nor the game, because when i install the game as default it self it works just fine. so im not sure wth is wrong. it use to work but not anymore.

I wish I could provide further help to try and get you going. When you do a fresh install, the game runs fine, and then when you install the mods, and only after installation, it CTD? When the Exhibition is loading? Does it matter what teams you choose? Not that any of these answers will help me, but maybe someone else who knows more may get more insight. Nobody else is reporting anything remotely similar, so I don't think it's a problem with the files contained in the mod(s) themselves.

Only way I'd see them not is if the fad passes by then; but I don't see that happening. I think we'll see NBA designs on the back immediately after Nike's deal with the NBA starts.

Yep bro that's exactly what is going on, which is very weird, im leaning towards some kind something with steam and windows 10 though of an update, i know i've seen to unchecked the steam overlay as that causes issues with this game as well. im hard headed though, i refuse to except this, ill keep installing it till i get it figure out..

Does it CTD as soon as it gets to the arena screen, or is the crash at the tipoff ?
The CTD as soon as the arena screen had been a dorna issue as you know.
I looked and there is not a specific Utah dorna, so not sure that would be the problem. If there was a dorna, we just used to delete it and that resolved the CTD.
Also, if the CTD is at the tipoff, I have found that I get random CTD at that point even with the NBA version. I restart the exact same teams and there is not a CTD, so it is not a specific file.
It seems it is an issue at times with the logos for the scoreboard. Not that there is a problem with the logos, per se, the game has a problem with them at times for an unknown reason. I've found the CTD never take place using the same logos with the default 2k scoreboard, only when I use other scoreboards.(the CBS NCAA in this case.) I use that scoreboard for both the NCAA & NBA and get the random crashes at tipoff, the time the scoreboard appears in game.

I would encourage you guys to try to run a game with Broadcast Generic view or whatever it's called. I have played and watched probably 50 games in the last month with both URB and NCAA and only had this one crash. Another reason I think it may be the camera view is, when I was testing NCAA while editing players and playbooks, anytime I changed the camera view to Broadcast Stadium I got an immediate crash. I think every other camera view besides that one worked. I am pretty certain that while I was testing the NCAA mod I tested every team and every arena with no crashes aside from the camera problem.

I only use Broadcast generic view for both NCAA & NBA and get the random crashes. I switched to that view from the broadcast stadium view back when the first NCAA mod came out. I did not get crashes, but some of the stadiums had views that were blocked by people in the stands etc. That is why I switched and have been only using generic for the last couple of years because of that. My crashes are at the point when the scoreboard appears, and I only get them if not using the default scoreboard.

slimm actually said he was getting a bit, compared to URB, for example, earlier tonight. I am not experiencing it. Is it with all teams? All the time? Trying to see if it's maybe only with teams who have HD courts, or something like that.

Hort, my lag is more pronounced at some arenas than others. I'm not sure which but I can try to get a list together if that would be helpful. I know IU has lag. So does Cal.

But first im waiting for info about moment of crash.

For me it was crashing right after they show each team's starting 5s with the cyberheadshots all together. Right before the tip. Isn't doing it this morning, though.

Had a couple random crashes (always right before tip off). Usually, I just fire it back up and it works fine. I noticed this after I edited the three or so teams whose rotations were off, the ros file that I loaded becomes corrupted and I have to save a new file rather than overwriting the loaded file. Does that make sense? I have had zero CTD after I saved my updated rotations file as a new file. I figured this out last year and it allieviated this CTD before tip issue.

I will be Marathon gaming today and will report back if anything changes.

Thanks droc81yo. I noticed something similar the other day when rotation editing. I would save, and the file would disappear from my Saves folder. Luckily I haven't experienced any crashes this morning. Hopefully it was just a blip that will be behind us soon. Thanks again. Please report back!
