In case any of you were wondering I offered him this:

Andre Drummond
Ersan Ilyasova
Evan Fournier

for

Anthony Davis

If you think you can beat this offer, send him an offer yourself. Vice versa, send an offer my way for Andre or any of my players.

EDIT: Oops. I didn't realize he accepted the trade. :P

EDIT: Dunno why but I'm already regretting the trade as Fournier looks like a Klay Kevin Thompson Martin this year. LoL and that Ilyasova is finally healthy at last.

What you guys think?

You won't hate it when Davis returns to his normal self.

As of right now, looks like way too much for Davis. Will still be too much even if he returns to his 'normal self'.

My opinion on this trade looking from NovU's side.
Good: Simply, AD. When he will get it going, he will win you stats categories by his own.
Bad: The FA market isn't so good right now. I don't think you can replace Fournier and Ilyasova for the moment.

great trade based on the fact the top player was included

i would not trade that value, even if he is not putting up astronomical numbers (like curry!), just yet... especially for that package. "Never Google" Fournier plays for Skiles so buyer beware!

kudos to both for taking the risk

Fournier had a great run like this last year, and then petered out. He's more like a Jamal Crawford than Klay Thompson. I'd say you got a great deal.

Just how I predicted. AD goes SSJ4 and Drummond goes kinda silent. 2-13 FT jeez

There's still a reject time? Should've included Miles though since he's just dumping him... The only risk is Davis' health  I'm not gonna worry about Fournier since he's on a contract year and Tobias Harris will be injured later as usual...

You're punting FT% when you get guys like Drummond or Jordan anyway. It's not something to be angry about.

Haha. I don't think it's that one sided gordon. I wish it was though. I paid dearly for number 1 overall pick but Andre was a top 8 last year not counting FT% and he's probably better this year as TS% is expected to rise with overall improvement which the reason I reached for him in the draft. His ADP imo will sky rocket next year, a definite first rounder (yup, You heard it here first). I was smoking high on Lillard and Drummond both of whom I had to reach.

Too bad outside of first couple picks, my drafts were mostly busts.

Yep. Looking at the trade, I wish I received dumped Ezeli and Miles as part of the deal.

I didn't say it was one sided. Lol what if the league vetoed the trade?

This isn't a keeper league and we do count ft% so your counterpoints are insignificant ;)

Yep, possibly. I told you though I been smoking high on Drummond this year so to even count FT%, he'll still have an improved season(esp Monroe gone & all dat) which will make a first rounder worthy.

Stress Fracture wrote:Claim them while they're hot

Not sure if I want to waste my waiver already on those low ceiling guys. lol. BTW looking at your roster, you could be a monster this season imo. And you might wanna change your team name to Drummond's Brick House now. Gluck to ya.

Is anyone else taking full advantage of 3 IL spots? In case anyone didn't know, you could add injured players to IL spots. My 13 player roster ballooned up to 16.

I only have one IL spot filled but I can't seem to find a way to add injured FA's without having to drop someone.

That is not possible. People would add injured FA's directly to the IL spots. When yahoo introduced these new spots, they were very clear that the only way you could add an injured FA to the IL spot is to add him to your roster, only to drop a bench player and later put a waiver claim on the dropped player . Even so, you are not 100 % you will get the dropped player back. You also lose your waiver priority for almost nothing.
If you are feeling hardcore, don't place any waiver request on the dropped player. Maybe nobody wants him.
