Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Now that EA has changed the point system to real cash, I got a few questions/concerns.
The biggest concern I have is that the cap will be done wrong, not in the sense that its at the wrong limit, but in the way teams get around the cap.
I'd really like to see sign-and-trades, and mid-level exceptions, or else high priced FA will never get signed. They will be left in the FA pool like last year and will sign a one year contract with a team for the minimum.
The other thing I'd like to see is 10-day contracts in Dynasty mode, and rosters like the real NBA, where if you have six or seven injured players, you can put them all on the IR and sign new guys to 10 day contracts.
Any feedbaack on this would be appreciated.

I like the idea of MLE and 10-day contracts, they should try those out for Live 2005. I'm not 100 percent sure on how sign and trades work, but isn't that when you just re-sign someone and trade them? Can't you just do that regularly in the game?

I don't think the MLE or 10 day contracts are in NBA Live 2005, but the use of real money needn't mean free agents remain unsigned. Free agent negotiations and the ability to seperate contract size from contract length (I'm sure I read that the latter will be in the game) should ensure players find their way onto a team. I'm not too worried about the salary cap being the cause of any problems in Dynasty Mode.

you can just resign someone and trade them, the computer however, wont. so i agree with him on this issue. would love to see a mid level and the cpu doing sign and trade(if not over done). i also pray that i dont see players like kobe and duncan(i mention kobe cause in one franchise he was on a new team every season) being signed the min. its damn annoying and very unrealistic.
