I don't know what's going on. Right now I have pretty decent settings. Almost everything is ok [60FPS during games etc]. There is only one huge problem. Player movement is just horrible! No speed, no acceleration, physics are slow as hell. When I compare this to gameplays on YT, it's totally different game. Player movement on PS4 is nice and smooth (like in NBA 2K15).

Try to disactivate windows side bar and windows desktop image background to only one image. Meaning just put only one image.
This made my game experience more fun...try it!

Could You please specify that little bit more? I don't have any sidebars on my desktop and what do You mean by "windows desktop image background to only one imag"? I also don't have any wallpapers ;d

Sorry for my english. Im using windows 7. Yes the wall paper, just put only one image. Because when I put 5 or 6 image and everytime it changes the background it was stuttering. Also look at the processes that fluctuates and the cpu power going up at idle. If the cpu power fluctuates in idle that means the game will stutter I think...
Im using also speedfan to observe it....maybe someone will explain this thing...

Yeah, I will update the settings in a minute.

After the latest (3rd) patch the game runs smooth as butter with all settings maxed out and there are no tricks to be applied if you run the game on a decent cpu/gpu, except for the Vsynd and Dynamic Vsync thing (that trick still is necessary :D -> Vsync On, Dynamic Off to get 60FPS even in replays).
The latest patch has solved stuttering at the beginning of the game when random players are being shown and the now with Vsync On, Dynamic Vsync on in between quarter highlights run @60FPS (Y) (no more slideshows or limitation of 30fps)
Already after the 2nd patch and not broken in this latest patch (3rd patch) the buffer count setting is fixed, so that will be basically the only change I am making (up to 2nd/3rd patch buffer count @3 would not work well with Vsync On/Dynamic vsync Off, but now @3 it works as it should (Y)

Here are the latest settings that make the game run butter smooth:

HEIGHT = 1440
REFRESHRATE = 60.0

hello i have a big problem with stuttering and the patch don't change anything... my pc gtx 970 4gb ,i7 overclock at 4.4ghz, 8 giga ram. i can play all maxed out in game at 100hz or 120 or 144hz ( for 144 it's ok now after last patch) but stuttering is here exactly the same from first day i play the game to now... i have try all with ingame setting and nividia pannel maybe i have to do something with my screen ( aoc 2460 144hz) or with windows 7 or maybe a special tweak i forgot on nvidia panel but please if someone got a solution?

Later today I will post final game settings and slightly updated nvidia control panel settings that I use and with which the game runs 60fps constantly with no frame drops. So if you will experience any lag/stutter with them applied you will have to look elsewhere - it will be either due to your gpu/cpu bottleneck or other part of the hardware or even OS issue. Now at least after the 3rd patch I can happily confirm that mid-high-range-pc handles the game great and there are no in-explainable stutters and frame drops, as it was initially after the game was released (Y) . I must also point out that change of anti-viruss (AVAST) settings (added exclusion (steam folder)) also helped me to improve overall game experience (not necessarily the game-play part, but the everything linked to highlights and replays).

First thank's for your answser but i d'ont have any fps drop just the stuttering... and if i put 60hz it's very slow like slow motion. but keep 60hz. but at 100 or 120 or 144 hz perfect no fps drop just stutter. can you put your nvidia panel option... and no problem with other game like gta5.

How do I access the NVIDIA Control Panel? I thought I opened it and I don't see where/how to change the settings.

Right click on the desktop -> NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D settings

Updated both (nvidiaCP and game settings) settings and included .rar with both of them <-see post #1. In final version (after 3rd patch) pre-rendered frames play no difference, but I still recommend to try out those settings (maximum pre-rendered frames and VR pre-rendered frames) in setups that don't run as smooth as butter, since @1 for both them was problem solver before latest patch. I already noted it but now Vsync On and Buffer count work proproperly, meaning with Vsync On and Buffer count @3 you get the same smooth operation that you would get if you would enforce through Nvidia control panel - no funny stuff as it was pre-patch 3 where tripple buffering was causing stuttering all over the place.

Thanks buddy. So let me get this straight. Do you have Dynamic V-Sync set to on or off ?

Yes. See the game settings.
VSYNC = 1
DYNAMIC_VSYNC = 0

Iasounis wrote:Just found this thread after starting my own: viewtopic.php?f=163&t=99931

I'm not tech savvy enough to play with my settings and understand what to change so I tried the above NVIDIA settings Could someone lend a hand by posting both the NVIDIA Control Panel Settings I should use as well as the in-game ones. Right now, my FPS during gameplay is about 40. Is there anyway to improve and play at high settings?? Should I consider changing my GPU (if it's even possible)?

Thanks for the help; I didn't see all of your original post because I wasn't logged in when I red it.

One more big favour, could you view my posted thread and provide any help/settings for my rig (found in the linked thread)? I used the NVIDIA setting you provided, and the game is pretty smooth at about 40 fps), but if you could help me tweak things for the better, I'd be really appreciative.

Thanks.

All of them? You are also using AA x8 with Super Sample x8 ? If so, this would be the first thing to lower/disable. Try lowering MAXANISOTROPY / MSAA settings and see how fps improves. Then you can play around with maximum pre-rendered frames and VR pre-rendered frames. Try how the game runs @1 for borth maximum pre-rendered frames and VR pre-rendered frames vs Use 3d application setting and experiment with Buffer count settings in game 1, 2, 3, but its still highly unlikely that the performance will improve on the same hardware, since, as I already said before, after this latest/3rd patch (4,6gb) there are no inexplainable FPS drops or stutters and all video settings work/react to the performance as they are supposed too, so there are no tricks to apply like it was before, where combo Vsync On, Dynamic OFF, buffer count @1 and frame settings @1 in NCP gave you stutterless peformance. The game is basically fixed now and all FPS drops/low FPS/stutters will appear mainly due to lack of gpu/cpu/hardware power to handle it, considering the chosen settings.

MSAA = 0
MAXANISOTROPY = 1

NVCP;
Anisotropic filtering 16x
Antialiasing - Mode Enchance the application setting
Antialiasing - Setting 8x
Maximum pre-rendered frames 1
Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization Off
Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias Clamp
Vertical sync On *since my monitor 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz

RTSS locked 60 FPS

i tested on my GTX 970 + i5-4460 quite smooth even thou look like the antialiasing is not locked by NVCP.
