Note: all changes in the roster you are soon to read about were made after the dynasty has began. I'm taking over the Sixer for the 03-04, and since I don't like the players I allowed myself to go crazy with the trades.
Talking About A Revolution
It was the first day of training for the 03-04 season, the Philadelphia 76ers' players were getting ready in the locker rooms for their first practice and then it happened; Head Coach Jim O'Brien and President and GM Billy King, entered the room with grim faces.
Untill this day it is not fully known what exactly O'Brien and King told the players that day, but fact is, by the end of the week ten players found themselves playing for another club.
Chauncey Billups
First trade to be orchestrated by the 76ers sent out Aaron Mckie and Glenn Robinsonto to Detriot for Star PG Chauncey Billups, both he and Iverson said they can't wait to work together.
Boozer and Kapono
After the arrival of Billups it was obvious that Eric Snow is no longer needed, and so he and Kenny Thomas were traded to the Clevland Cavaliers for Carlos Boozer and Jason Kapono.
Jarvis Hayes
If you thought that was the end of it, you were wrong, Philly traded Todd MacColluch and Willie Green to Washington and received rookie Jarvis Hayes to fill the SF position.
Vladimir Radmanovic
The 76ers were also worried about the bench, so they sent Greg Buckner and John Salmons to Seattle for the Serbian PF.
Chris Bosh and Roger Mason Jr.
The only starter missing now was a center, so once again Philly went for a young big man, Chris Bosh, and traded Samuel Dalembert and Marc Jackson for him and Roger Mason Jr.
Joe Forte and Anthony Carter
The two Free Agents were signed to the team to fill in the bench as a substitute back line.
"This is only step one of the revolution," King declared, "our goal is to win the championship within three seasons."
The final roster:
C
Chris Bosh 69
Derrick Coleman 64
Amal McCaskill 31
PF
Carlos Boozer 69
Vladimir Radmanovic 59
Zendon Hamilton 34
SF
Jarvis Hayes 55
Jason Kapono 49
Kyle Korver 43
SG
Allen Iverson 84
Joe Forte 54
Roger Mason JR. 45
PG
Chauncey Billups 70
Antony Carter 54
Bosh, Boozer, Hayes, Iverson and Billups are expected to start. Coleman, Radmanovic, Kapono, Forte and Carter will get their chances off the bench.
MacCaskill, Hamilton, Korver and Mason will most likely balance the bench.
