How do I change the unit of measuring

Postby eirik on Tue Oct 27, 2015 4:00 pm

For some reason it is in metric, is it something to do with where I currently live because we measure in metric. In an nba game or any American sport game I always measure in feet inches so is there any way to change that?

Doesn't look like that setting is in the game this year; in previous years, there was an option to change between imperial and metric measurement. It always defaulted to imperial for me, despite being in a PAL region.

You can change units by changing the language, but changing the language comes with consequences, like not being able to match or join players with English as the language. At least it was like that in 2K15, not sure if it's still the case. It should've been a separate option, I don't want to alienate myself from the online world while at the same time, my brain doesn't do feet and pounds even though I can roughly convert them in my head.

I play the game in english and have imperial units even though I'm from continental Europe.

On a slightly unrelated note it reminded me of:

Forgot to mention the obvious, you might not want to change your language because you don't speak any of the remaining options, if so then there's no way to have different units than the ones tied to the language you want. It's worth exploring now that modding has progressed though.

I did wonder if that would have an impact, when I was going through the options. It was a separate setting in years past, which was much more convenient for anyone who needed it.
