Nope skoadam, the current logos are there, those logos shown is 1 giant texture that replaces the copyrights screen right before the real logos are shown (like how you replaced it with the "URB - Where Sim Happens" texture that has the modified NBA Logo that says URB instead). After that screen fades out, the current logos are displayed.

Shot location tendencies, yes.

Can you explain why that is?

Or why all values shouldn't equal "100" in sum?

In the sim engine, they work together with the Take Shot tendency to determine how many field goal attempts a player will take from that particular area of the court. The practical result is it allows the sim engine to take FGA (Take Shot Tendency) and multiply it by the 4 shot locations and 4 shot location ratings to determine what the player's shooting percentage will be.

I haven't seen code, but when I was developing the formulas for shot locating ratings and tendency in my spreadsheet, I first determined what the approximate minimum and maximum was for each shot location rating, shot location tendency, and take shot tendency in the sim engine. I then was able to develop a formula that looks something like this:

FG% = (Inside Shot Tendency X Inside shot rating) + (Close shot tendency X Close shot rating) + (Mid Shot Tendency X Mid Shot Rating) + (3pt shot tendency X 3pt shot rating).

After I had edited 2001-2016 players (those players have all available data), I had a general idea of the range that each position game for each player type for each shot location rating and tendency. That's how I approximated all of that data for the 1985-2000 teams with players who didn't play after 2001.
