AI Needs To Be Raised Higher . A Lot Higher!

The CPU in LIve 03 n 04 are so stupid and do such atypical things that it really ruins the gameplay. Like burning Timeouts with almost a min. left or shooting hail mary 3s jus because they're down by 1 with a min. left to go. Does anyone kno if Live 05 AI is actually smart this time around?

Have you not read any of the reports posted here? No previews at all? Please read the reports by Mr. Shane and Minnesotaballer before posting thoughtless threads like this.

As Uzumaki has said, the reports from the Summit and other previews around the web suggest that the AI in NBA Live 2005 is greatly improved. I didn't think it was too bad in NBA Live 2004 though there was the essence of "cheating" with the aggressive comeback code and the CPU often made strange decisions in the final minutes of close games.

HONESTLY its kind of hard to tell how good the A.I is just from a few hours of play, sure you can tell that ea has improved this and that but only time will tell if the A.i can hold up until live 06.

Plus i understand what hes saying that was one of my problems with 04 on my 3rd day of owning the game i was already winning by 15-20 on the hardest difficulty level.

That is true, sometimes I win at 70 points difference on superstar (scores like 126-56 and stuff like that), and the sliders are of course even or in CPU favor. So yeah the CPU lacks ideeas. Now don't tell me I should modify the sliders in CPU's favor so he can cheat...

This even made me play without using the pro-hop at all!!! I mean never ever even if I need it to win a game (very rarely happens anyway).

I wish it would be difficult to beat the CPU on superstar, but this without the CPU cheating.
