Hidden Accessories.... Why?

So I just noticed that James Harden got a shoulder strap. It's not available when editing players... so why are 2K hiding these accessories from us. Same goes with accessories like the headband or the accessories in the MyPlayer Store.

I just noticed this too. I like the KT tape. Looks good.

As for the reason you can't use it on yourself, you know the reason headbands aren't editable, so why keep asking? Hair physics are the reason.

As for the KT tape, it could just easily be the same reason that Brandblack shoes aren't wearable by anyone but Jamal Crawford, which is that the company doesn't let them. How is that 2K's fault?

Actually every single player has a headband in their model... it shouldn't be that hard to just put an option for it to turn on/off. I can use the limnono modifier to give any player a headband, the only problem is it's such a hastle just to do it. Who is blocking 2K from using a black strap anywyas? It's not branded like the shoes are...

KT tape is a brand...

And try putting a headband on a long player and see how that works out. It'll clip and look terrible.

That tape could be made by anyone... who's to say it's KT tape. I don't see any KT logo on it. It could be 2K tape for all they know.

I did update my game (Steam) two days ago and I don't have the tape....

I assume they're not editable in-game because they've been added as a custom texture, not an accessory that can be freely assigned.

I can assign the accessory to anyone by copying Hardens accessories and pasting them on someone else by using the Limnono modifier. So it's not really custom to Harden. There is no clipping or anything, have a look:

Then perhaps it is something they want (or have) to keep exclusive to Harden, for whatever reason. Or perhaps it's simply a case of the interface not being updated this year to allow for editing that accessory, due to other priorities and the fact it's not a commonly worn accessory.

I don't know is there any in 2K16 I'll check it later, but in 2K15 there were face mask not only for real players that was edited through roster update, but for at least 1 generated rookie C played for Cavs in my MC.
