All I've read in the summarization in OS is this:

No option to force a retired player to become a coach.

I've haven't been saying this for long, but I do want that option.

What about you guys? For 2K17?

There are multiple of fans wanting that feature for long, so I don't know why no one else wants this option to be included in 2K17.

It'd be nice to have, but its absence doesn't ruin the game for me. As it stands, it can still happen, you just don't have omnipotent control over it, as with some other features.

If it's added in future games, cool. If it's not, no skin off my nose.

I am not sure I like the idea of "forcing" a retired player to do anything. That sounds too North Korea for my liking

What I meant is make the badge that affects players to become coaches be modifiable in the roster editor, where you choose between for that badge unequipped or equipped.
