Does anyone know if the game doesn't work at all for Win10? It worked for me on Win8, but isn't for WIn10, and I'm just wondering if that's definitely the problem.

It's a possibility. I've been meaning to upgrade to 10 on one of my test machines so that I can confirm stuff like that.
