Smoove said there is a hot/cold feature just like in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. If I can disable this hot/cold feature, then it's a cool feature because it gives balance Online and it contains the Cheesers. But if I can't, then what's the point of trying to get a Superstar on your team on MyLeague? Then I can just pick the current Sixers and only play when my players are hot, if they are cold, I quit the game and try again to get a better luck on the lottery

Huh? He's talking about players being cold at the start of a single game, not their entire careers. "What's the point of trying to get a Superstar on your team on MyLeague"? What are you even talking about?

I know it changes for every game. What I'm saying is, I don't need a Superstar anymore, just Restart the match until most of my players are hot

That's not how it works at all. There's no scenario where "most players are hot". They made it so one or two players at the start of the game are hot or cold. It doesn't last the whole game, and it doesn't effect the whole team.

Are you sure about that? Smoove removed Ty Lawson from the lineup because he was cold and useless because of the lottery system and said there is one time his entire Starting 5 started as Cold

To say that it doesn't matter what player you pick and that you may as well pick a bad team because of this is silly. There are things to be upset about. You can be upset about this feature being in because it disrupts the flow of your game, but the argument you're using is just silly.

If a good team entire Starting 5 is cold, then it's a bad team, at least for that game. I already had good games and bad games on 2k15, I think this feature is unnecessary. But if you can turn it off, then it's a good feature, like I said before

As I understand it, the Hot/Cold mechanic has been in there since Eco-Motion debuted in NBA 2K14. If anything, it just sounds like it's more refined now.

Hot/cold features appear in like 20 years ago in PS1 football games. I don't get why someone is freaking out.

It's been done before, but not always in basketball games, and not always well.

Random commentary that has nothing to do with what's happening on the court is back. Dunleavy takes a wild three, with time expiring, from two feet beyond the three point line. The resulting commentary is "I don't like that defensive effort" and if it keeps up he (Dunleavy) will have a big game. Yeah, if the D keeps forcing shot clock expiring wild three pointers, the guys flinging up those desperation shots will have big games.

33:10 Randolf gets the ball in the post. He makes a shot after working in the post. Commentary: "Randolf off a screen..." There was no screen for Randolf. The screen was on the other side of the floor. Commentary: "Well, you know, he came off a good screen." No, someone who didn't even get the ball came off a screen.

This is why I have to turn off commentary. It has nothing to do with what's happening in the game.

There won't be a problem if you can turn off the hot/cold feature or just implement it in MyGM or MyCareer.

Given MyLeague has almost everything customizable, I would be more surprised if you couldn't turn it off than if you could.

And even if you can't, I'd be surprised if it isn't reasonably well balanced.

Yeah, negativity expressed by sarcasm.

And while 2K14 was basically disappointing on PC, 2K15 was huge step up. Nothing is perfect, but at least I didn't encounter too many technical issues.

Im not talking about tech issues, it was fixed after few weeks and yes 2k15 was huge step up....graphically(still not in every aspect)- fully understand that for some players its enough, im just not that kind of person, nothing more. I still hope that after a year of hard work on gameplay aspect(because i dont see a lot of graphic improvements right?) game will be much better than 2k15, we will see.

Well, we can't expect major graphic improvements this year - but next year might be another story if they implement DX12 (Mostly on Xbox One, as it will free up some performance. PS4 might get some improvement if Sony chooses to use Vulkan.).

Gameplay had many important improvements and 2K16 seems to go further in that direction with new foot planting and collision detection.

Plus we can already see some stuff in the gameplay videos like not getting stuck in animations.

Like i said im not expecting major graphic improvements, with nowadays studios opportunities its the easiest part of building new games, all we have to do is look around- a lot of pretty games without content.
To be honest i hear about new foot planting every year, im not sure but i think i saw something new in this aspect one time.
Good to hear stuck in animations is over. Hope they fixed and improved more things in gameplay, they had year and years of experience for this, right?
