The 2K16 version hasn't been confirmed yet for PC. But if you play on console I think you should :)

Read a comment earlier today criticising the size of the roster, basically saying that it was pointlessly big. Considering that in years gone by, there have been complaints about the roster being too small, it struck me as a little weird. Better to have too many wrestlers represented in the game than not enough; it's not like you're forced to play with the ones you don't want to.

Sometimes more than expected pass buttons wrestlers can be intimidating

This has become a must buy for me simply for the roster. Gameplay could be the same as last year (which I enjoyed, but understand why others might not) and I'd be happy. All these wrestlers +100 CAW slots? Gimme.

Hey, I stand by what I said about NBA 2K16.

But yeah...I mean, everyone's entitled to their opinion and all that, but I really don't get that. Why wouldn't it be necessary to include as many current wrestlers as possible, plus a decent selection of former wrestlers for historical and fantasy matches?

Obviously when it comes to complaints about roster size, it's basically boils down to whether someone is satisfied with the legends & nxt rosters, essentially the "extras"

I for one am impressed with this year's legends and nxt roster and honestly the only people who would make it perfect at this point would be Mr. Perfect and Owen Hart (which isn't happening). Was million dollar man announced? He's one of my favorites too. Maybe they should add Samoa Joe and rhyno too

I'm liking how it's shaping up, too. I can understand disappointment at certain wrestlers being omitted or the roster being too small, but too large? Again, that just strikes me as weird. Then again, some people do just like to complain. "I'm not interested in it, therefore it's stupid and pointless" is a popular view as well.

I have to admit, I need to catch up on the other developments with WWE 2K16, beyond the roster reveal. I was a bit disappointed with 2K15, so this was the first year in a while that I considered not buying the new game. I do have some gift cards though, so I'll probably end up pre-ordering from JB Hi-Fi in the near future.

Full roster confirmed. 120 superstars, including 13 divas. I expected the 9 in the "Divas Revolution" to be in the game, but looks like the 4 horsewomen from NXT won't even be in the game. That isn't surprising as the US Champion Daniel Bryan wasn't even in the game a few years back (added later in DLC) but the best women in the company won't be added on, probably due to the nature of their NXT contracts with WWE. That is a pretty big letdown to what was shaping up to be the biggest and best wrestling game roster of all time

Well, there's always going to be a roster cut-off date...and some stuff is always going to be held back for DLC, I imagine. That's just the way of things, these days.

From Reddit

@wwegames After the high of @WWE Night of Champions this weekend, get ready for something new from #WWE2K16 on Monday! #RaiseSomeHell
"More gameplay of Eva Marie!
... that's what you all wanted.. right?"
'Four (that's right... four!) alternate attire options for WWE diva Eva Marie: Steampunk Eva; #AllFlairEverywhere; Wacky Waving Inflatable Flailing Waving Arm Eva; and of course, The Boss of Total Divas!'

Sucks, but at least there is Create-a-Diva this year

An Announcement About Divas and WWE 2K16

With our final roster reveal this past Monday, it was awesome seeing the excitement for The New Day, Enzo and Cass, Mikey Whipwreck, and more. But it was clear that some in the community are frustrated by the lack of the newer Divas added to the main WWE roster recently.

We pushed as hard as we could to include Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley in WWE 2k16, but it simply did not work out for various reasons. While we are not divulging full details on WWE 2K16's post-launch plans just yet, we can confirm that the Four Horsewomen will not be available as DLC.

We are proud to have and built the largest WWE roster to date featuring the most Divas ever. The WWE 2K16 disc includes all of the Divas on the main roster at the time we locked it in (13 playable in total).

We all agree the Divas Revolution is great for business and look forward to celebrating the Divas even more in future WWE 2K titles.

So I think it's fun. Seen a lot of negative impressions of same ol' same old, but being someone who liked last year's game I'm enjoying this one so far.

New submission system is a bit weird, but I did like the limited reversals. Everything seems more "realistic" in terms of it's own game world.

Played through a Gold Rush tournament for a custom Hiatch belt, which is amazing by itself, KO vs Kidd, and a Paige v Stephanie TLC match.

Had Flair beat whoever I was controlling throughout the tournament (except Brock in the finals), he acted similar to his real character. Flair flops, bleeding every match (blood still gets on hands and chairs and such), and just being a pain to beat.

Can't say that others really played differently or acted non-generically, but it was a quick session.

So, had fun, not regretting it, looking forward to setting up my universe once some good Dudley's, Divas, and NXT CAWs get uploaded.

I've seen some negative, or at least so-so, reviews popping up as well. I wasn't too impressed by WWE 2K15, so that's left me feeling a bit uneasy. Still, I'll give the game a try myself before I make up my mind. My copy's on it's way, so hopefully I'll get some hands on time with it tomorrow or Friday.
