By the way, Markieff Morris wants out of Phoenix. A swap with Gibson is perfectly matched with the salaries but Phoenix will need more for Morris perhaps adding a 1st rounder or 2 may persuade them to deal him to the Bulls?
“First off, I think I am a point guard,” Butler said without joking. “So I’ve done a heck of a lot of ball screen work, ball handling, getting into the paint and still handling, floaters, all that stuff point guards do. If I get a chance, high pick and roll more. I want some triple doubles. I’ve got to get my handle right so I can pass and get it to guys where they can make shots. I told Fred. You ask what position I play, I say point guard.”

He seems to believe that he's a much bigger deal than he is, which probably leads to him pricing himself out of what teams are willing to pay...not to mention questions about how well he'll fit into the role they'll need him to play, when he believes he's a superstar. Remember, this is someone who compared himself very favourably to Michael Jordan.
Gibson for Morris...maybe. Morris does seem to be healthier, if nothing else. Gibson's a bit more efficient and a better rebounder. Morris seems a bit more adept at putting up points (albeit slightly less efficiently) and is four years younger. It probably won't happen, but I could get on board with it if it did, sure.

Tucker would be nice. What's the hypothetical deal now?
Russell Westbrook said Derrick Rose looks like "the old Derrick Rose". Trainer Rob McClanaghan said Rose and RW are "neck and neck again"

As you said, it depends on whether it was Thibs holding him back, or whether what we've seen so far is truly where he's at right now. I'm not sure about him, but his play towards the end of last season has me thinking that there's more promise there than I thought. I'm not opposed to your "most likely" lineup to start out the season, but I think changes will (and should) be made as guys like Snell prove themselves. If nothing else, I could see Snell over MDJ by the end of the season.
