Knicks lost for the first time. Is this real life?

Noah Vonleh has been looking great. 1 month away from being 20 yrs old still. Portland may have gotten a steal in the Batum trade.

If I am honest I was a little disappointed with the knicks summer league team, the players you expect to be good weren't and the unknown players pretty much picked up the slack.
FYI I actually like the team Portland is putting together!

I don't think he's trash but other than the post game I want to see other things from him
Also your a Bulls fan, you remember what Eddy Curry was like as a rookie don't you, you must see the similarities to them and I bet if anyone had of said of that young Eddy Curry that he reminds people of the late Eddy Curry people would said they were crazy too.
Yeah I had my fair share of the Eddy Curry experience. I admittedly saw more of Curry's days as an amateur compared to okafor.
I see some similarities there. But.. Curry was never confused for a defender or rebounder. The dude in his high school championship did not get one single rebound lol. His work ethic was always questioned too. I don't think okafor had those issues.

Justin Anderson and McBuckets seems to be playing good in the Summer League. I hope Doug gets more playing time this season.

Oubre with 30 points! 5-7 beyond the arc

Portis has 25 points and 15 rebounds, this kid is going places. Also can anyone explain to me why Seth Curry is still not signed by any team? He currently leads the league in points per game (25.3) and steals per game (3.5)

Pels will probably sign him so gentry will have his own curry to battle golden state

It is the Summer League, after all. It's not completely meaningless, but it's not a sure indication of a player's capabilities against full strength NBA competition.
Bo Outlaw used to tear up the Summer League, too. And while he stuck around, finding a place with a handful of teams over the years, he wasn't putting up monster numbers once the regular season started. Again, not to say that the Summer League is completely meaningless, or suggest that Curry is a terrible player, but he has had a couple of brief stints in the NBA so far, and hasn't been able to latch on or draw a lot of interest. If he were a can't-miss prospect, he'd probably have a contract by now. Chances are he'll get some more looks, but teams are probably taking his numbers with a grain of salt because again, Summer League.

Proud of Simba and Dwight "Kili-kili" Powell. They had a great outing. I really like Wayns, hope he makes it in this league. Also to my man Bobby Ray Jr

Hammon becomes the first woman to win the NBA Summer League Championship and Simmons wins MVP
Wed Jul 22, 2015 9:52 am
I think Hammon could become the first female head coach in the history of the NBA; not just the Summer League, but the permanent head coach. Perhaps not in San Antonio, and likely not for a few years yet, but some day.
Wed Jul 22, 2015 10:59 am
Perhaps for the Knicks.
Wed Jul 22, 2015 11:03 am
I'm sure isiah would be happy about that
Wed Jul 22, 2015 11:36 am
Well, looks like Seth Curry
might be getting his big break.
The Sacramento Kings appear to be rounding out their backcourt with an interesting addition. ESPN's Marc Stein reported that the Kings are in "advanced discussions" to sign Seth Curry, younger brother of 2015 MVP Steph Curry. Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski followed up that report by saying that the Kings have agreed to a two-year deal with Curry. The deal is for $2 million, is fully guaranteed, and contains a player options for the 2016-17 season.
Wed Jul 22, 2015 11:46 am
Good for him. I hope he gets playing time behind Rondo.
Wed Jul 22, 2015 3:15 pm
Lol we've already established that the Kings are a joke. Then they sign their cross town rivals' MVP player's brother? Sounds like a publicity stunt to me.

She is still so damn young. She has plenty of time to get a shot as head coach somewhere.
