Something about the music in the trailer just didn't seem to fit, but nevertheless, I'm interested in seeing it.

Margot Robbie is just perfect.

It certainly looks interesting. Piqued enough that I'll go see it, but I'm really not sure what to expect. I don't know many secondary comic characters and since seeing The Watchmen am pretty gunshy once you leave the major heroes and big budgets. This looks like it could be surprisingly awesome though, potentially.

I can't see him as Joker. I can't.

Looks like Leto can pull it off like Batfleck.


Seeing Joker look like a gangbanger with those tattoos didn't make sense at first, then I realized it made sense because the Joker doesn't make sense. I could imagine Joker wanting to look like a gangbanger just for kicks and then killing the guy who did his tattoos and teeth afterwards.


I still expect Will Smith to ruin the film.

They announced that the next trailer for this is coming on January 19th. Along with a bunch more info on all the DC films. (In a CW special hosted by Kevin Smith so...blech.)

Was also confirmed (there had been some earlier confusion) that this will chronologically be the third DCFU film after Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. So spoilers, Batman survives the latter film.

Part of me thinks this might actually be secretly awesome. Despite Will Smith. If only for the fact that it started off before they had figured out the whole DCFU and also because Jared Leto apparently never broke character ever.

THIS is going to be good. You can't convince me otherwise even with any reshoots. The gold teeth and tattoos are all forgiven after seeing the clips of Leto and Robbie in character. Even Will Smith isn't ruining this. Going to do better than BvS.

And going to hopefully kill the DCEU in the cradle.

seriously though i agree, this movie should be really good. as of now i put it as the 2nd and maybe best comic movie of the year. depends on just how good civil war is

I became less interested in this movie after seeing Batman: Arkham Assault animation.

It has the Suicide Squad (different team)
It has a Batman cameo.
It has a Joker cameo.
Focus is on Deadshot and Harley.

I don't mind Margot Robbie but Will fucking Smith...enough is enough.
