nba live 16 may be pre ordered this year.

Would be the first time since 2009 !

Some promising news and tidbits so far, and there seems to be more confidence and optimism from EA this year, which is an encouraging sign.

It's amazing that just giving us back a feature that we have had for many years and one of the most basic functions that we had control of since the beginning of nba live gets so many of us fans interested again!

I saw on OS that EA has given customization back to NHL 16, to what extent I don't know but if someone can give us some feedback on that would be great.

Absolutely. It helps that they're making strides in other areas, of course, and that they have a slightly different approach to certain aspects of the game. For example, while 2K is the more polished game across the board, I still prefer NBA Live's approach to controls, and Ultimate Team to MyTEAM.

Agreed about the controls being better in nba live, I hate using the shotstick in 2k and trying to pull off the euro step for me usually results in a pull up jumpshot 2 foot from the basket or just a normal layup attempt.

They've given full editing controls, appearance and attributes. It's a beautiful thing

Honestly I think EA would go a long way if they had you doing there nba live 16 promo videos.

I always play Live 15 as soon as I get chance after watching them and I think EA could use that type of hype the videos can create.

Sliders in the game

Two big checks off the list there.

2k's going to lose customers fast if they still wont give us a trailer.

I wouldn't go that far, but NBA Live 16 had a really good showing. The 2K team are obviously pretty confident in their product given its positive reception in recent years, though given they've mentioned "something big" in regards to player movement, I'm surprised we haven't seen anything yet. Mind you, E3 isn't over yet.

In any event, that's a topic for the NBA 2K16 section. Again, a very strong showing for NBA Live 16 with the trailer, gameplay blog, and Twitter Q&A.

To be fair 2k doesn't need to do all of this stuff right now because there customers know they will be getting a solid game in the fall.

EA has to build nba live back up and needs to try and get people's attention early.

People like myself, a long time nba live fanboy hardly gave live 14 a shot. I played it twice and went straight back to 2k.

Live 15 got my attention and I liked it to a point but EA has me watching what they do next and from what I have seen they have my money this year.

So far they have given me 2 out of the 3 things that is a must for me - sliders and customization.

Now I want to see a much improved dynasty mode, it doesn't have to be as deep as myleague or mygm but it should have all the basics like transactions and injury pages at least !
