HOW TO: Have to seprated folders with each running a different mod?

I know this has been explained somewhere but I still can't found it.

How can we play med's and UBR at the same time. I have separated both mods in 2 different folders with everything original from 2k. If I run the .exe of each folder, will this .exe only run what's in his folder?

What I do is make a clean install of any 2k game.

Copy and paste all of the contents of it then make a new folder and rename it to something like "UBR 2K14".

Theres where I put all the UBR files and when I feel like playing with the UBR roster, I just load the 2k14.exe in that folder.

You can repeat the steps mentioned above if you're trying to install another roster mod or something.
