Making Roster.....and game crashes

What I would like to do is basically illiminate players with a 76 rating or higher. (O'neal, Garnett, Bryant, etc)
Then I wish to start a dynasty with the fantasy draft.
Change all players for a 1 year minimum contract
Make each player a first year rookie.

I am still having trouble with getting rid of the top players.
This is what I have tried so far.

Delete the players
Change the players.dbf rating so they are 0 rating.
Edit players in game so the are under 30 rating.

Each time it crashes just after the training camp screen.
After the training camp part, the pop up *LOADING, PLEASE WAIT* screen freezes. I have to *END TASK* to return to desktop.

Can anyone help??

Put them on the retired team.

They still end up in the fantasy draft for some reason.

They shouldn't show up in the Fantasy Draft if they're on Team 38...to make sure, you can change their ISHISTORIC attribute to True. That should do the trick.

A word of warning, I believe the game will crash if there aren't a few players rated above 80 in a Dynasty game.
