Why shouldn't that be a flagrant foul? He made zero attempt to play the ball.

Reggie Miller criticising Delly for letting the ball roll up the court on an inbound after a basket, because the Cavs were up, was just stupid. The game clock was running, the shot clock wasn't, and the Cavs got a 30-second possession instead of a 24-second one.

Looked like he went for the ball to me, isn't his fault Lebron is a freak athlete that he couldn't get to the ball. If it was a clear take down I'd say he didn't make a play for the ball but why make the effort to go for the opposite shoulder/ball area then?

Was just a hard playoff foul imo.

He was nowhere near anywhere the ball was, or was likely to be. The fact that he went with two hands instead of one also indicates intent to foul, rather than make a play for the ball. If he'd gone with his left, thus increasing his reach, and hit LeBron on the arm, still nowhere near the ball, then yes, it should just be a regular foul.

The NBA seems way to generous in this regard, so it may well be a case where this is inconsistent with other calls, but it should be a flagrant foul.

I thought it was a good hard playoffs foul but I remembered this is 2015.

being down 0-2 does not mean the team sucks.

its simply a matter of needing an all star level player to carry them during stretches.

Or to put it another way, the Hawks don't suck - they've had too good a year to say that - but their current level of play certainly does.

A couple of months ago, I thought they had a chance. It's definitely become crystal clear that they're not what they need to be.

I almost forgot Sauru lives in Atlanta. #bandwagoner

PS: You guys have to remember the Hawks got blown out by a team(@home) that'd barely win 10 games without LBJ. Irving was resting and this was team with Knicks' junks, Mozgov, and D-leaguers.

Now, try to keep a straight face and tell me the Hawks don't suck. LeL

They had a chance. No love. Injured Irving. Big men who can shoot. They crapped the bed

Dellavedova is such a dirty player. I was hoping for Horford to bury his elbow to Delly's face.

Edit: Shocked that Horford got ejected.

He's an irritant, no doubt about that. Was expecting a flagrant 1. What was the technical on the Cavs for exactly?

Horford lost his cool with the elbow, but Flagrant 2 is a bit much.

Dellevadova better stay away from Curry's ankles, Green will go apeshit on him.

They should really just sag off of Lebron and let him beat you, don't let anyone else get their shot off clean.

Ejected for that? When an NBA player targets your knee, you should have the right to fucking retaliate and beat the shit out of him. God knows what will happen next if Mathew gets a free throw every time he does that.

The 0/10 start aside, that was a brilliant performance by LeBron. Not that it's surprising or anything, but you still have to take your hat off to the greats when they put on a show like that.

Those final possessions by the Hawks at the end of regulation and overtime were pretty woeful. You've got to get better shots than that. They could've had that one in regulation, with a better possession and attempt.

I can't believe the Hawks were the best team in the East by far. This team totally does SUCKS in every regard. The Bulls with injury issues fought a better series. Heck now I seriously wonder what would have happened if Wall and Wizard made it to the ECF. :facepalm2:

At least we know for sure the Cavaliers will get absolutely raped by the Warriors in the Finals. Warriors got superior players from A to Z outside of LBJ. Even then Green matches up very well anyway.

That Dellavedova cunt is the type of player that doesn't have the talent to be in a regular rotation for his career so he turns to hurting people. Someone should seriously give him a beating. Where's Jerry Stackhouse when you need him.

A complete letdown by ATL. Let's hope the Cavs make it a series in the finals. 2-4 is not a good score for LeBron.
