Need Roster Editing Help

So I finished the roster for my NBA Jam mod, using the UBR cyberfaces, jerseys, etc., but it keeps changing the same teams to "is special" and replacing the players on the teams every time you actually open the roster in-game. This also causes some crashes when you go into "manage roster" and scroll to some specific teams. I believe this is because it recognizes the absence of the elites and stars and allstar teams. So I attempted to fix this by putting those teams in at the same ID number as the teams it was messing with, and it still picked out the same 22 teams to overwrite the roster on. Now I have no idea what to do. this is pretty much the only thing keeping this roster from being complete for me to release. please help. i can email a copy of the roster to anyone that wants to take a look.

Sorry. It's a NBA Jam mod for NBA 2K14. even so, i mistakenly put it in 2k15. but i figured it out anyways.
