Shaq's son Shareef.

Early days, and his father's act is a tough one to follow, but he's got some size, athleticism, and some skills there. In a few years, who knows?

He feels like an interesting Andre Iguodala. Same sort of smooth, deliberate pace.
Been on the thinnest of ice and I turned myself into Gretzky.
2K13-2K20 modder.
CFs are the game.
Primary modder for NBA 2K14 D-League conversion mod.

It must be hard being the son of a basketball superstar when your trying to make your own mark, it's a tough act to follow.

I remember watching Michael Jordan's son play in high school and there was so much media About it but the truth was that he wasn't really that good a player.

From memory, Marcus was a better player than Jeffrey, but neither are pursuing an NBA career. Now there's a tough act to follow.

Looking at the list of second-generation NBA players, it's interesting to see which generation was superior. It certainly differs from family to family. Going off that list and quickly glancing at some stats for players I'm not familiar with, I'd say...

(Father/Son)

Rick Barry > All his sons (Brent arguably being the best of the three who made the NBA)
Mike Bibby > Henry Bibby
Ron Brewer = Ronnie Brewer
Joe Bryant < Kobe Bryant
Wayne Chapman < Rex Chapman
Norm Cook < Brian Cook
Corey Crowder < Jae Crowder
Dell Curry < Stephen Curry
Dell Curry > Seth Curry
Terry Davis < Ed Davis (didn't actually know they were father and son)
Darren Daye = Austin Daye
Larry Drew > Larry Drew II
Rich Dumas < Richard Dumas
Mike Dunleavy Sr < Mike Dunleavy Jr
Patrick Ewing Sr > Patrick Ewing Jr
LeRoy Ellis > LeRon Ellis
Bob Ferry = Danny Ferry
Harvey Grant > Jerami Grant
Sidney Green > Taureen Green
Matt Guokas Sr = Matt Guokas Jr
Tim Hardaway Sr > Tim Hardaway Jr
Gerald Henderson Sr < Gerald Henderson Jr
Earl Higgins < Sean Higgins
Rod Higgins > Cory Higgins
Tito Horford < Al Horford
Bill Hosket Sr = Bill Hosket Jr
Wali Jones > Askia Jones
George Karl > Coby Karl
Stan Love < Kevin Love
John Lucas Jr > John Lucas III
Ed Manning < Danny Manning
Press Maravich < Pete Maravich
Roy Marble = Roy Devyn Marble
Wes Matthews < Wesley Matthews
Scott May < Sean May
Al McGuire > Allie McGuire
George Mikan > Larry Mikan
Pete Mount = Rick Mount (probably)
Jay Murphy > Erik Murphy
Sonny Parker < Jabari Parker (most likely)
Jim Paxson Sr < Jim Paxson Jr
Jim Paxson Sr < John Paxson
Curtis Perry = Byron Houston
Paul Pressey > Phil Pressey
Walt Piatkowski < Eric Piatkowski
Tony Price < A.J. Price
Leo Rautins = Andy Rautins
Glen Rice Sr > Glen Rice Jr
Doc Rivers > Austin Rivers
Glenn Robinson Jr > Glenn Robinson III
Walker Russell Sr = Walker Russell Jr
Al Salvadori = Kevin Salvadori
Dolph Schayes > Danny Schayes
James Silas = Xavier Silas
Derek Smith < Nolan Smith
John Stockton > David Stockton
Walter Szczerbiak < Wally Szczerbiak
Jeff Taylor = Jeffrey Taylor
Collis Temple < Garrett Temple
Mychal Thompson < Klay Thompson
Mychal Thompson > Mychel Thompson
Butch van Breda Kolff < Jan van Breda Kolff
Ernie Vandeweghe < Kiki Vandeweghe
David Vaughn Jr > David Vaughn III
Brett Vroman = Jackson Vroman
Milt Wagner < Dajuan Wagner
Jimmy Walker < Jalen Rose
Bill Walton > Luke Walton
Mitchell Wiggins < Andrew Wiggins (most likely)
Gerald Wilkins > Damien Wilkins

And on the grandfather/grandson list...

John Barber < Jason Sasser & Jeryl Sasser
Bruce Hale < Jon Barry, Brent Barry, and arguably Drew Barry (to that end also < Rick Barry, his son-in-law)
Ronnie Shavlik < Shavlik Randolph
John Townsend > Eric Montross

I think he was referring to his current style of play.

Almost every above average basketball player can look great on highlights.

Looks like a shitty player to me. Perhaps he can improve/mature right though.

His dad was on another level.

What up with you taking shots at me all the time? I haven't done anything and if I have been wrong, it's been on matters of opinion, which are always subjective.

Statistics disagree. Opinions aren't always subjective. That's stupid to say. There are many facts and stats in the game of basketball which should be used to form a statement.

Saying LeBron is better than Kwame is not subjective. And yet it's an opinion.

That's true, I won't deny that. But in players who are somewhat "Tier C" (point guards for example) Eric Bledsoe and Mike Conley- who would you take? At an eye test, I'd take Conley, but the choice is tough. I believe in terms of casual, non-statisical analysis that I'd take Bledsoe. I'm not allowed to just go with my gut and enjoy sharing my own opinion? Not trying to play victim here, but that's how I feel.

His sons were him split in half, Brent got all the talent, Jon got the insanity and drive.

Gerald Henderson Sr < Gerald Henderson Jr

I'd go with the dad by a hair or three so far.
