He would have had to do something quite different because he violated NCAA eligibility rules multiple times as he never intended to go to college.
Of our other high schoolers:
Brandon Jennings committed to Arizona
KG couldn't become academically eligible, but would have gone to Maryland
Kobe never committed but was long speculated to go to Duke
Jermaine O'Neal also failed to qualify academically, but would have gone to South Carolina
Tracy McGrady intended to go to Kentucky
Al Harrington was deciding between Seton Hall and Georgia Tech
Rashard Lewis was favoring Florida State
Jonathan Bender committed to Mississippi State
Darius Miles was rumored to be likely academically ineligible and knew he wasn't headed to college, but considered St. John's
Leon Smith, well...
DeShawn Stevenson committed to Kansas
Kwame Brown signed a letter of intent with Florida
Tyson Chandler never decided but unlike others was apparently more than qualified academically, rumored to lean towards UCLA
Eddy Curry signed with DePaul
DeSagana Diop didn't sign either
Amare Stoudemire committed to Memphis, but he would have been academically ineligible to play had he actually attended
Travis Outlaw can't find anything
Kendrick Perkins committed to Memphis
Dwight Howard decided to skip before his senior year
Shaun Livingston committed to Duke
Robert Swift committed to USC
Sebastian Telfair committed to Louisville
Al Jefferson committed to Arkansas
Josh Smith committed to Indiana
J.R. Smith committed to UNC
Dorell Wright committed to DePaul
Andrew Bynum committed to UConn
Gerald Green committed to Oklahoma State
C.J. Miles committed to Texas
Monta Ellis committed to Mississippi State
Lou Williams committed to Georgia
Andray Blatche never considered college apparently
Amir Johnson committed to Louisville
Jackie Buttler committed to Mississippi State, then failed to qualify, and then planned to sign with Tennessee
Ndudi Ebi committed to Arizona
Charlie V actually declared for the draft as a high schooler, but backed out and won a title with UConn instead.

Probably LBJ went to Euro league and sucked there like Jennings?
Jennings only averaged something like 7 pts iirc in Euro as the system is entirely different. And half the LBJ's dribbling would have been called Travelling Violation over there.

That's actually true, being a euro guy myself I watch in amazement sometimes at what some nba players get away with during games.

More or less the same player, only with slightly lower career totals at this point, and depending on how long he stayed in college, probably a few less "youngest player to reach X" milestones.

Don't think Kobe really wanted or needed the money. He just really wanted to be the best. He felt in order to do that he had to play with and against the best so he made the jump to the nba

I think I've given you enough clues to realize I was reffering to his 2010 "Decision" and his infamous "I'm taking my talents to South Beach" line. Wasn't that hard man.
