Increase Yao Ming's pass rating. He's actually quite a good passing center, but the Rockets' slow-down offensive system, as well as the inaccuracy and selfishness of its guards kept his numbers down. His current rating of 28 is way too low, especially since Shaq's passing has been boosted. I think an increase to the mid 40's would be good.

Forgot to change this earlier...Nachbar's first name is still "Bostjan" (might have spelled it wrong, but you had it right in-game). Boki is just his nickname and I was too lazy.

Sorry to bug you about him again :D, but Nocioni is officially signed. Please add him, I want to try out the new looks Bulls with him . BTW here's a basic player info from page 1:
BTW, for Chapu (Andre Nocioni), new player the Bulls signed from Argentina (or are almost done, hopefully this is done, it's been "imminent" for almost 2 months), he's very similar to Matt Harpring. He's a very aggressive slasher who isn't afraid to dunk (check 2000 Olympics, he dunked over KG and has dunked over Big Ben and TD I believe). Outside shot is mediocre, very intense player, good rebounder (for a 6'7" man). However, not quick enough to guard 2's, very strong for his size as well. Good defender. I would make him around Loul Deng's rating, with Nocioni starting.

I just the saw the signing myself over at NBA.com's Player Movement section. Do you have any other information, specifically weight and date of birth? I also need to know what he looks like so I can create a player that looks look him - or as close as I can get with the game's Create-a-Player feature. ;)

Marcus Banks (Lakers) needs to have his stealing greatly increased. Last season he was #1 in the league in steals per 48 minutes, averaging more than a 1 spg in only 17 mpg.

He also shot about 31% from behind the 3-point line. That's deserves far more than his current rating of 49. His rating should be increased to the low-mid 60's.

Rip Hamilton's 3pt rating is too high. At 68, he's quite capable and even lights you up when the game's scripting kicks in. I play against the Pistons a lot, so I'm quite familiar with this. His percentage last regular season was only in the mid 20's, and he has been a poor 3pt shooting throughout his career. He shot better during the recent playoffs, but I don't think a few games should offset his entire career. He probably deserved a small boost, but not this much. Like others have suggested, his current FG rating (78) should be increased while his shooting range (25') should be lowered, in order to emphasize his mid-range skills.

i second this. hamilton's def aware should be lower tho to mid 50's.

CAVS anderson Varejao. upside - "Varejao's strength lies in his athleticism - he has a volleyball background - and his shooting. He's long, athletic, can handle, shoot, hit the glass, swat shots and cause turnovers."
downside - "Varejao is a hybrid forward - he has some 3 and 4 in him but he is truly neither. That will cause problems for him in the NBA, as he lacks the shooting prowess to face the basket on a full-time basis and lacks the low-post game to play exclusively in the paint."- yahoosports
NETS ron mercer sg/sf.

note: the lakers-celtics trade was ammended.

ROCKETS bob sura starting pg. he should be pg/sg. he should have higher rebounding and passing.
"What Sura does well is handle the ball, pass and rebound, and that's what the Rockets need from him. Sura is the favorite to beat out PGs Charlie Ward and Tyronn Lue for the starting job because he should be a good complement to C Yao Ming and SG Tracy McGrady, especially on the glass. The Rockets lost one of the best rebounding guards in the league when they traded PG Steve Francis to the Magic, but Sura is as good as Francis on the boards and averaged 8.3 rebounds in 27 games with the Hawks last season." -yahoosports

Good stuff...just Andrew, don't get too carried away with that 8.3 rpg number. Looks good, but again Sura had Joel Pryzbilla, Jason Collier, Chris Crawford, et al boxing out for the Hawks . Either they did one helluva a job clearing the ball for Sura to grab or they plain flat sucked and leaving a lot of chances for Sura to get a rebound.

BTW, the 2nd choice is more true .

I think Slava Medevedenko's FG rating should be increased. He's not a good defender or inside player, but his mid-range shooting makes him a decent player off the bench for the Lakers. It's streaky, but decent. His current low rating of 62, combined with the poor release of most big men, make him almost useless.

im sorry but i think his strength(74) is way too high for him. he's not even strong enough to be in the 60's. i've seen him play and strength is definitely his upside. he has a very thin body but he has height. i think he's strength can be increased to the high 50's max. at 74(your proposal), he would be stronger than dampier, r.traylor, ben wallace and elton brand.
