I did. And it annoys me when said reputation causes people to make things out to be more than what they are.

Like I said before, I'm not a blind Hinkie worshipper and I do question if the MCW trade was a good one. But what's wrong with this move? Hinkie claimed a player who had been waived, which obviously negates verbal 10-day agreements (suck it Billy King, lol), as it should. I mean, what would be the point of this entire waiver thing otherwise?

Hinkie has a history of picking up former 1st round picks not wanted elsewhere and seeing if Brown and the rest of the coaching staff in Philly can make something of them (Wroten, James Anderson, Orton, Elliot Williams). Robinson is another one of them and gets the Sixers to the salary floor as well. In other words, he just killed two birds with one stone.

Another thing people don't care to think about is that Robinson is almost certain to get more minutes in Philadelphia than he would in Brooklyn, playing behind Plumlee, Lopez and Thad. It's both a better basketball opportunity for him and gets him a job for the remainder of the season and not just for 10 days. But no, let's get our panties up in a bunch because he verbally agreed to sign a 10-day somewhere else. How horrible.
