Keep them coming as the long wins continue

I'm always shaking my head every time gasol complains he is being fouled each time his shot is contested

Yes, all those years Pau Gasol spent playing with Michael Jordan must've had an impact on him. ;)

So first game in a while everyone is healthy.

Anyone else think snell has earned himself a role in the rotation? I hope at thibs favorites, hinrich, expense?

It is a mystery what the rotation overall will be.

He may well have. I've been trying not to get my hopes up too much lest they be quickly dashed, but he's begun to look like the solid pick-up he had the potential to be. If he keeps it up, no sense letting him rot on the bench.

Nothing but love for you, Andrew. What up with it?

I read your previous post and was thinking, "there's an initial thought made then he added 'but' and made a counter point of that previous thought"

So re read your recent posts and they almost follow this same single formula.

He is good but he is bad. Lol

Snell was in during crunch time vs the Suns. Happy for him and maybe just maybe he's found his niche

That's not what I'm saying. I was pleased to see Snell string together a couple of good games, but I was also wary of getting my hopes up too much, thinking that it was quite possibly a flash in the pan. However, his good play has continued, so I can't help thinking that I wrote him off too soon. The "but" is me contrasting my previous opinion with my current one, and admitting that it's looking like I was wrong; happily so.

Again, that's completely missing the point of what I was saying...or maybe twisting my words and putting others in my mouth out of a desire to disagree and argue with me? Hard to say, you're a tough one to figure out sometimes, AG. ;)

I don't know how I can put it any clearer, but here goes: I'd given up on the possibility of Snell becoming a useful rotation player, and even when he had a couple of good games, I figured it might be a bit of a fluke. His good play has continued though, which has me thinking that I was mistaken, that I had given up on him a bit too soon. I'm not making a counterpoint to myself; I'm admitting that I was wrong, and hasty in drawing a conclusion.

And Snell is continuing to prove me wrong as I type this. 18 points on 7/10 shooting as they lead the Bucks 48-33 at halftime.

I reckon Thibs will still give Hinrich his minutes when he comes back however Snell have a better chance of bumping Dunleavy in the rotation... As we all know, players who have defensive potential in their resume are eye candies for Thibs... Glad that he's pretty consistent for some time now and somewhat giving us reason to not worry about MDJ's departure next year... Speaking of potentials, where the fuck is McBuckets?

Probably on the outside looking in, with Snell playing as well as he has. He's also a rookie, so he was always going to have to wait his turn with Thibs.

Meanwhile, the Butler does it again:

Jimmy's athleticism is being obscured by his defensive work... look at his head almost leveling the rim and this is jumping off of two feet while slamming it with two hands  how I wish he got Snell's wingspan...

no worries, Andrew. I'll pick you a Snell jersey when it hits the stores ;)

I feel the same way with Hinrich. Wouldn't it be awesome if Hinrich turned in his jersey Rudy style so Snell can play?!

Derrick Rose to undergo surgery on a meniscus tear in his right knee. Well, that's just fantastic.

I was feeling optimistic about him getting back to form eventually, but now...well, he hasn't made it through an entire season in close to four years. Good thing Jimmy Butler's emerging as a potential franchise player, or at least a perennial All-Star.

On a more uplifting note, MJ and Pip were voted the Best Duo in NBA History in NBA TV's Fan Night tournament.

Dunno, Rose-less season they were pretty good even with only Noah, Deng, Gibson, player that stepped up (Nate Robinson, Marco Belinelli, DJ Augustin), and even Boozer.

Noah and Gibson is still with the team, Rose's place is now Jimmy Buckets, Boozer got upgraded to Pau Gasol, they need now a 'Deng' (Snell?) and one player to step again and they're ready to reach ECF at best.
