The roster from MM2K14 had zero free agents.

Yes, I just checked that now and saw that.

I can change teams without crashing in association mode, but it will not let me advance from the asgn roles screen. the problem does not appear to be the changing teams part.

With that in mind about the new teams being the possible issue, can you reorder the mm2k15 team list with the original mm2k14 41 teams first and the new added teams at the end to try this ?
That way the teams will still have updated rosters and the season/assoc will default to 30 teams that were already in the roster excluding any new teams.

If we can get the season mode to work doing that, then at least we can narrow the problem to something with the added teams and go from there.

Also, with the Duke roster, even though you used the same slots, they are still (1) short of the required (12) for assoc mode. Someone will have to be added to the team roster so they have (12) players.

Just checked out the new menus bigh0rt, They are very good and I like the March Madness Live as opposed to 2k15. Awesome work. It's like a new coat of paint for the game.

Tried to do the playoffs using custom teams and after one game I simulated the next game and it crashed. This may be a good way to test. I'm going to put all original teams in and sim. Then once those are good, add the new teams one by one and see what works, what doesnt.

Colorado State needs a 12th player (and to have # of Players changed to 12). Duke needs 12th player and to not have Quinn Cook twice (he's in Slot 12). Maryland has an extra Quinn Cook in Slot 13. UNLV has an extra Quinn Cook in Slot 13. Washington has 4 extra Quinn Cooks in Slots 13, 14, 15, and 16. Wichita State has an extra Quinn Cook in Slot 14. Maybe these have been fixed by now -- I'm going off an old roster.

Update - Ok still not working. crashes after selection conformation.
I was looking at some other rosters, that did work, and noticed on the Teams tab that SomeID1 has to match up with the ID number in the first column and the SomeID2 has to match up with the logo number.
Might be something to try.

Also the 90-91 blue devils have 3 three 1's in instead of the -1. Dont know if that would cause it or not but its there.

Nevermind, I used the MM2k15 quick play roster. The season roster I uploaded this morning works flawlessly in playoff mode. (which sucks for troubleshooting)

Did you fix the "quin cook" issue or does that and 12 man rosters still need to be fixed?

Edit: I see it is fixed.

Would the record 0 through record 19 be an issue?

I see all the teams from MM2k14 have players from their roster in those slots(or-1) and the added teams have players that players not on the team roster.

ID2 matching the Logo number EX Butlet Logo077 the ID2 = 77 - but I don't think that has anything to do with it even though that is how it was in your original roster on page 2

To get the roster to work, I had to change the GIDs of the teams I used to create the new teams to their defaults.
I figured out the problem with the full team roster. The GIDs for the classic teams are hosed. I assigned them random numbers like 606, 607, 608 etc. While plugging random good known GIDs into the created teams. If we can just sort out the GID issue with the classic teams (there's only like 5-7 I messed up, the created teams are good to go) we can have a fully functional season roster.

We can use the working roster as a cheat sheet to fix the GIDs for the classic teams on this roster:

Glad you like it. I think it removes any of the confusion whether this is for 2K14 or 2K15 (not that there was much), but also creates a more realistic navigation environment. Mostly, though, I thought that logo was sweet.
