Questions about Modding Live 2004

I remember 10 years ago when I had the game for PC, I was on this site and getting different tools and whatnot to do various edits/mods to jerseys and shoes. Now that I've recently gotten the game back, I have the following questions.
#1 - I remember being able to give players customized shoes/shoe colors when I started. What's the name of that particular file and what editor(s) do I need to make that happen? (I currently have FshEd, EAGE and BigGUI)
#2 - In correlation to the first question, since I'm now running Windows 7, I can't even add shoe mods to the existing shoes in-game. Do I need to use all of the unlock codes, or do I need to do something else?
If anyone can point in the the right direction on this, please do so, and thanks.
