Patch #3 Out Now (PS4, PC, X1)

Now I can't wear my custom shoes. WTF is this?

I equip it and it's just not saving.

Let's see if showing a screenshot will get someone's attention... ONE BIG PROBLEM--at least with my update… I was checking out all of the updated player faces and when I got to Josh McRoberts, his face is bright white, with no detail--like there's some kind of textural problem... and when I go to look at Chris "Birdman" Andersen, it dumps me to the desktop. I tried restarting my computer and all of that jazz, but no luck. Is anyone else having that problem? Has anyone looked at Josh McRoberts or Birdman yet? Is there a way to re-download JUST the patch to try to do a fresh install. Any help or response would be greatly appreciated...

If something is out of order with files on Steam, you can verify game cache and it will automatically redownload corrupt files.

the same for me. I just got Jordan signature shoe endorcement and now there is 1 created shoe for Home and Away games and I can't change them, the game don't save any shoe change. of I also change some accessories stuf and shoes then only accessories changes saves correctly but shoes doesn't so it's not because of general save problem. it's only shoes' save problem.

Would appear the new patch has "corrupted" my MyCareer save. Validating through stream hasn't fixed the issue either and neither did a system restore to the day before the patch. It is now un-openable and all VC/time sunk into him is up the wall. Is there anyway of saving the file?

You might want to hit up 2K Support, or Ronnie 2K/LD2K on Twitter. No guarantees, but that'd be something that would need to be addressed from 2K's end.

the patch is doing good for me and I feel its a lot smoother now.. Have few settings questions, hopefully someone, probably leftos can help a bit more to understand

HAIRLOD
Hair shader detail control.
HAIRLOD=0 - High detail hair shader. Only allowed when SHADERLOD=1.
HAIRLOD=1 - Low detail hair shader. Use fast hair shader in gameplay cameras.

QUESTION: why does HAIRLOD=0 (HIGH DETAIL) is only allowed when SHADERLOD=1 (LOW DETAIL SHADER). shouldnt SHADERLOD=0 work well with HAIRLOD=0? What is the settings if I want to have highest detail shader and highest detail hair?

QUESTIONS: Please explain each of the settings listed here. I looked it up in google last night but I only got generalized answer. I need specific details for what it is affecting in the game and whether it eats up a lot of FPS.

for info, I am running it around 42-55fps on gtx660m. 1280x720 resolution on 17inch screen. all high settings, except crowd=2.
so far so good and smooth.

I am trying to get more FPS without sacrificing the quality too much, so every FPS count LOL. thanx

Ok, I just noticed this after a couple of games.

Am I the only one experiencing problems with Free Throw? It seems that I started missing a lot of FTs when I don't get a Perfect Release even though it's really close.

Edit: My stat is at 75 FT

the first thing i noticed is the inability to drive with a hesitation or stutter step after bringing the ball up because you get stuck in that stupid walk-up animation now.

Apparently nobody else is having this issue, so it probably is just corrupted or files that didn't download correctly. I just wasn't sure how to re-dowload content or "verify" it. Right click on the game in Steam library=>Properties=>'Local Files' Tab=>Verify integrity of game cache. It might take a little time for verifying and then if any of game files are corrupted Steam redownload only these files. As for me there were approximately 450 mb.

YES! My Harden release which was money before the patch is now all over the place, i can hit Excellent only 1 outta 5 times now with 90 (!) Free throw rating and even when i am slightly early/late i feel like i am missing WAY too many, like i miss by a millisecond twice in a row and miss both free throws with a 90 rating? Are you kidding me?

Same thing goes for some 3's, i am 90 rated and sometimes when i pull up from 3 and get it slightly late or early i can get as BAD AS D+ rating while pretty much wide open and alright Stamina/rhythm. Have no idea why,

And I thought it was just me.. I have only played 2 games post-patch but my mid range used to be excellent but I have been missing a lot of them(Nearly all of em) since this patch.. I guess I'll have to keep playing to readjust to this new timing..

I have the same issue with my shots too, I'm hitting 25-30% of open shots, and missing uncontested layups. If a rival stands a feet away from me it's an automatic miss.

Sorry of this has been asked/resolved - any news if 21:9 will be supported as stated?

As far as i know ,this has not been resolved!I have the same problem with 21-9 aspect ratio(aspect ratio unknown)!But the list of the patch says PC supports 21-9!

Looks like Michael Myers grew a beard.

The next patch I hope they fix the classic team jerseys, they look like shit. Too tight with shrunken letters and logos. They paid much more attention to detail with the previous gen. This new generation of games has been a disappointment so far.

Srsly, this patch did much good, but gameplaywise it is just sh.t .
The work on the defensive end from my team improved drastically, but in the same way my big guys are not able to score when they are free under the basket! Instead of just dunking or doing a simple layup, they pass the ball out to the perimeter, this happens like on every 3rd or 4th fastbreak my team gets!
This costs a lot of point. Also the shot-display during the freethrows distracts me much, and I have the feeling that the overall shooting of my player decreased by worlds.
Also the behind-the-back-move ist just worthless now, as your player dribbles the ball right into the legs of his opponent 90% of the time.

Seriously, I do not win less than before, but the game got a lot more frustrating.

the game crash at intro, when players are introduced one by one.. help.

I have a problem on PC with "my team" when i click any challenges and for examply challenge with lakers it return to first challenge with thunder and with another challenges it's the same. Generally i can't play any challenge.

For me, game is great now, i just want a high mesh shorts on classic teams...

I try to play with Jordan and game looks like MEDIUM with actual static jerseys... =(
