Patch #3 Out Now (PS4, PC, X1)

- The following players have received updates hairstyles/beards: Chris Andersen, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Martell Webster, Josh McRoberts, Deandre Jordan, Marcin Gortat, Kyrie Irving, Iman Shumpert, Michael Williams Carter, and Xavier Henry.

- The following players have received new or updated head scans: historic Shaquille O’Neal, Damian Lillard, Larry Sanders (goggles), Otto Porter (prescription goggles), Steve Nash, and Jordan Hill. Rajon Rondo now has a new body type.

- Updated the Atlanta Hawks uniform to match the look for the 2014-15 season.

- Updated the Toronto Raptors uniform by reducing the thickness of the red trim around the arms.

- Updated the referee uniforms to match the look for the 2014-15 NBA season.

Shouldn't this type of update be included in a roster update?

I guess it depends on the system they have in place. Even if it is something that can be done in a roster update, they're probably just updates that have been included along with the big patch.

I'd say that "roster update" should be simple database update, while the new stuff like face scans, new beards/hairstyles, textures, ... should be packed into a patch.

Either way, the important thing is that those updates are being made.

Thankfully they fixed Michael Jordan's body type on the 98 & 96 Bulls but he's still too skinny on the 91 & 93 Bulls. They didn't give Nikola Mirotic a beard which is disappointing considering they gave other guys beards.

I'm glad that they're making an attempt to fix all these things. Most gaming companies would have been happy to take your money with no product support. Especially since 2k owns the only game in town right now (NBA Live does not belong on the same planet as 2k). We're mainly hard core video game bballers here and no matter what they do, we'd probably buy 2k16 next year anyway so kudos to the 2k team for addressing these issues.

I am really happy that 2K cares about its coustomrs and not only money. I am just mad that they dont want to give the patch to the XBOX ONE/PC fans just because they have a deal with Sony. I get it that they needed to have the stage be an exclusive but still the other fans should not have to deal with that. In the end, I am just thankful that a game company can provide a great basketball game like this one

I'm not sure that's the case, as the PC version received Patch #1 before any other platform, and the PS4/X1 patches dropped around the same time. I doubt that would've happened if an agreement was in place preventing it.

Whatever is going on with the pc patch I'm just ready to get it.. I don't even want to touch the game because of how great I've heard the patch is..

Live got a day one patch and is constantly being given an update, their online is better than 2k too. I'm not trying to say Live is better than 2k but at least EA has a direction with Live unlike in previous years.

i cant find it when i go check for updates on my ps4...and automaticly it wont start

what about menus, playoff stats, ability to reduce the amount of replay (not doing it every game), tactics icon not showing, stats overlay not showing.... fuck i don't give a shit about "a tatoo not displaying while a training !!!!!!" this is joke hope the changelog for PC is different but as there are 2 little lines about exclusive PC i don't think so...

oh yeah and plz wake up tyson chandler in mycareer, he is sleeping in the paint !!!!!!

I honestly don't think we're getting a patch 3 even though it was mention in the patch. Maybe it is a ps4 exclusive. People on Twitter ask about the xbox one patch and was told there was no information about that by 2k support.

Excellent timing, just as I am getting ready for dinner. 11 minutes remaining

4 GB + sounds eccesive...... hope that it will worth the while, after 1 week and an half of downloading the game this huge patch doesn't come too welcome for me at least especially cos reading the log it seems stuff that should take 500 MB at most......... but well we are now used to this just miss the old games system tbh.
