[Potentially Solved] Audio Micro Stutter

Dear All,

I've did try every solution (update drivers,run as admin, disable soundcard) in the forum but still get random audio stutter...from time to time....maybe one quarter is ok but next quarter I get a micro-stutter

I've a i7 Quad with 640M....any other suggestion than waiting for Patch #3?
Is that a game issue?

I did try with all the different updates:

- default
- Title Update 1
- Title Update 2

Result is the same game start butter smooth then audio start to get messed from time to time and FPS is inconsistent even on LOW settings

I'm trying with latest nVidia driver now ....hope it helps...

I am getting a feeling that you aren't talking about steam version of the game?

Ok just a quick test:

with nVidia 344.75 lag is even worse previously I was using 344.11 and lag was just time to time....now lag start from begigging of forst quarter...maybe this can help devs....

I am getting a feeling that you aren't talking about steam version of the game?

I have steam version I did save the exe after every update FYI IF don't trust me I can show my Steam receipt...

Saved the executable file after every update? It doesn't just update the exe.
Talking about trying different updates made me suspicious, it's great that you have bought the game ofc.

Since you play on a laptop, I assume you have just integrated audio?
If you have a hdmi and a tv with hdmi input, could you try using the hdmi for sound output instead of 3.5mm? (At least I hope this is the case)

No problem man....try by yourself offline it works with different .exe....BTW the game lags with all 3 exe ^_^..so back on topic

Yes I've a lappy with HDMI connected DELL 24' I just let Intel Driver enabled....and disable nVidia and Realtek driver.....with 344.11 driver it just have some moments of audio lags.....
344.75 is even worse....I'll try with different drivers....

What's annoying is that with 344.11 before the "lag" audio crap the game is silky smooth with 2k14 I did loose some frame...but no audio crap like 2k15

Updated Realtek Audio Drivers
I Did try with FAST_TEXTURE transfer both 0 and 1
I've try with vSync from nVidia on/off
Also with run as admin...

I think I'm on the good path of solving this problem....I'm using Title Update #2 ...I downgradede the driver to 340.52 WHQL and changed those parameters in videoconfig file:

MAXANISOTROPY = 1
MSAAQUALITY = 0
SUPERSAMPLE = 0
CROWDLOD = 2

before those parameters where high settings like MSAA @ 4 and anisotropy at 16....I did play many games (3) without any sounds stuttering...both with vsync on or of....so I'll do more test but for my 640M those settings make the game smooth and very nice to play....in one of those 3 games crowd was very loudy becouse the game close in the 4th...zero stuttering

keep it up bro if u have more solutions please post them because I hate that god damn audio lag!
