WEEK OF NOV. 10

DEMARCUS COUSINS, SACRAMENTO KINGS C
Cousins has been among the NBA's best players early in the season, averaging 23 points and 11 rebounds for the surprising Sacramento Kings, who sit at 5-2 with impressive wins over Portland, Phoenix, and the Los Angeles Clippers.

DERON WILLIAMS, BROOKLYN NETS G
Williams has been productive and, more importantly, healthy so far in 2014-15. He's averaging 19 points and seven assists for the 4-2 Nets.

BERNARD KING

The four-time NBA All-Star and 1985 Scoring Champion averaged 22.5 PPG in his 14-year career, most notably with the New York Knicks and Washington Bullets. His career was undone by a knee injury suffered at the end of the 1985 season, which caused him to miss about two years during his prime.

JAMAL MASHBURN

Mashburn was one of the game's most versatile scorers after entering the league in 1993. He made an All-Star team in 2003 with the Charlotte Hornets, and averaged 20+ PPG in six different seasons.

So Nando de Colo was out of contracts so I replaced him with James Ennis. After looking at his stats, I noticed that he is the perfect player for this game. He's fast enough to get into the lane, has a nice dunk rating, and his 3 point rating is enough for him to hit open 3s. I took on the Cavs after inserting him in and he scored 41 points in the game

So the James Ennis domination continues. I played against the "Coming Home" featured team and dominated Lenny Wilkens. Although he did have a nice move where he dribbled the ball through my defender's legs on his way to the basket.

Dropped 31 points on them in the first quarter and forced 11 turnovers on Wilkens alone.

Is it as bad as in live 14 when you could drop 50 on the legend teams with Dooling just using euro step?

No. Some of the games have a set difficulty that you cannot change. I was stealing the ball every possession it seemed like, figured out it was on rookie. I looked to change it, but it's not possible. I think other challenges have different difficulties.

But, I did just pickup the goat the other week.

Some games aren't easy at all. I had trouble vs the Knicks and Cavs because Irving and melo could not miss from 3. It's crazy how every 3 goes in for the cpu if they even have an inch of space.

I get a lot of steals with Ronnie price whose steal rating must be pretty high. I get at least 4-6 a game with him

Steals need to be turned down a bit in general, though. Again, this is where sliders would definitely help.

I wasn't able to do the Suns and Pacers challenges since I didn't have any of those players but I'm definitely gonna do this Lakers one next. They must have started working on UT pretty early because Ronnie price doesn't qualify as a Laker but luckily I have Marshon Brooks who does

This sounds like 2007 all over again. Keyon Dooling was unstoppable in 2k7 and I would embarrass people with him single-handedly

How do you get legends in this thing? Still haven't figured that out yet

They're available in random packs...kinda like the good inserts in packs of basketball cards back in the day.

(And probably today, too. I haven't collected any trading cards since the 90s. )

Gold packs only? I've had enough for 2 gold packs already but I don't remember getting anything special

I'd say so. I don't think I've received a Legend in anything other than a Gold pack, which stands to reason I suppose.
