Thanks. I'm sort of a videophile, so I have that perspective with this stuff.

I set this up as you explained, but it caused my game to crash immediately. I have windows 8.1 - I am sure this is an error on my part. Any idea, though, what might have caused this?

Try disabling in game overlay:

Tried it. Looks good, except for the brightness which is too high IMO.

The problem you get there is Lebron looks orange and Deng has lost his more natural looking skin tone.
It's a tough balance between getting the courts looking closer to the real broadcast colour and brightness and losing that in the player tones.

This may be a dumb question, but how do you install it?

I'm kind of a newb with some of this stuff. Am I just copying and pasting these files directly in the game folder?

Yes, and if you're running Windows 8.1, disable the in-game overlay in Steam.
You can toggle the SweetFX in-game by pressing the scroll lock key.

I have no idea what steam is.
I downloaded a RELOADED copy of 2k15 off kickass.
Directions on doing so if I need to, please?
I just looked at all the programs in both my "Programs" and "Programs(x86)" files and do not see a file folder for Steam.
