TBM's Vivid SweetFX

Fri Nov 07, 2014 5:56 am

DOWNLOAD:
TBM's Vivid SweetFX

Only the Windows 8.1 version has been tested. If anyone can turn on split screen and post some screenshots of the Win7 version, that'd be much appreciated!

This SweetFX adds a touch of sharpness, and a nice vividness to the game, without crushing the blacks like most SweetFX mods that people make tend to do.

For best results, enable 16x anisotropic filtering in nVidia Inspector like the screenshot below. Take note of how much less pixelation the floors have with this enabled.

Thanks. I'm sort of a videophile, so I have that perspective with this stuff.

I set this up as you explained, but it caused my game to crash immediately. I have windows 8.1 - I am sure this is an error on my part. Any idea, though, what might have caused this?

Try disabling in game overlay:

Tried it. Looks good, except for the brightness which is too high IMO.

The problem you get there is Lebron looks orange and Deng has lost his more natural looking skin tone.

It's a tough balance between getting the courts looking closer to the real broadcast colour and brightness and losing that in the player tones.

This may be a dumb question, but how do you install it?

unzip it, and put the files in the folder from your OS in the 2K15 install folder.

I'm kind of a newb with some of this stuff. Am I just copying and pasting these files directly in the game folder?

Yes, and if you're running Windows 8.1, disable the in-game overlay in Steam.

You can toggle the SweetFX in-game by pressing the scroll lock key.

I have no idea what steam is.

I downloaded a RELOADED copy of 2k15 off kickass.

Directions on doing so if I need to, please?

I just looked at all the programs in both my "Programs" and "Programs(x86)" files and do not see a file folder for Steam.
