I was right. They did go to stadiums and record. Staples Center sounded just too damn real and familiar.

A lot of these sounds were in Live 10. I wonder if they kept the "We want tacos" chant.

Yes, that and a few other pa announcements are familiar. But the ambience and the reverb are spot on.

pretty sure I mentioned it before, but the Swish sound is horrendous... it's not even a swish, it's like a very deep thump/swoosh
have no idea how they could have messed up the single most important sound of the game..... 2K's is pretty bad too, no better than Live

Played at MSG & Toyota Center and I gotta say, I am impressed. They have A LOT of new authentic sounds. I don't watch enough Knicks games to notice, but there were some familiar ones as well as the licensing for "Everybody clap your hands"

They also got the "Lets go Rockets" authentic sound.

Anyone notice when you turn down the arena crowd sound, I just have the commentary on and basketball sounds... there is this horrible sounding footstep shuffle you constantly hear.
It's supposed to mimic shoes squeaking but you don't hear that, instead you hear weird thud like footstep shuffles, lol, sounds so amateurish

This is the one thing 2K has failed to imitate.
I've been to NBA basketball games. 2K doesn't come close in terms of atmosphere.
