So I've just found out that I can't download the rosters and put them on a flash drive like I was planning. I'm going to an internet censored Iran, which means I can only get wired internet in libraries. My plan was to download the rosters/updates on a flash drive and bring them to my laptop to play at home. I don't know if you can download rosters by yourself, which means for the next 5-6 months I can only play with rosters updated to November. The timing couldn't be worse
Anyone know a way? My ethernet port doesn't work, so I can't connect it like that either way. Not only that, but does this mean there's no awesome ulitmate base roster as well?

You can purchase an Internet to USB adapter.

I guess, but I really don't want to buy anything right now... money is tight. Why didn't they do this like they did last year? It was a hell of a lot more convenient.

It's an entirely new game and format. You had to expect things would change. At some point we may figure out a way around it, but for now this is what we've got.

It is very possible to share it, it is found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\...\282350\storage (or find folder which has file name Roster001... etc..)

You can share the file, but due to the encryption on roster files, it is useless to do so.

Yeah, I found the file when I was looking around. But that's silly, why would they encrypt it? I wonder if there's a mod that can get around to his...

Best guess, it's a by-product of being a port of the PS4/X1 version. Hopefully it's something they can patch out, but that remains to be seen.
