End of Season Awards - MyCareer

Sat Nov 01, 2014 1:33 pm

Is there any way for you to win this? My PG averaged 55% shooting, 27 ppg, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, and I don't even get Most Improved Player. In fact, looking at the league leaders, I'm not even featured in the lists.

You played too few games to be in the list in your first season imo.

I suspect he may be past the first season since he mentioned "Most Improved Player". There's nothing to improve on in the first season.

After the first season I was in the race, so that's why I thought he was still in the first.

Not if you begin your season in March... It's like a player who gets a 1-2 months injury is ruled out of the MVP talk in real life :)

Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm in my first season. I didn't think that a rookie wouldn't qualify for most improved player, but now that you mention it, you're right and I wouldn't.

I just started my second season. So you're in the running for all these awards now?

Also, one of the achievements is to win the dunk contest at the all star game. There's a dunk contest? Why doesn't 2k also make this a game mode then? How do we practice for that if we've never seen it before? Bring back the 3 pt contest too!

Just sim into myleague or something and you'll have whole all-star weekend.
And there's both 3pt shootout and dunk contest.
Dunk contest was dumbed down and it's no longer guitar hero style, but "press 1 button 2 times with time window size depending on your skill and dunk difficulty" style.

2K15 has both contests. If you want to practice you can do it in MyGM(MyLEAGUE too I think). Also if you exit just before the contest is completed, you can do it again and again for practice.
