Noob question, But how do the .iff's that it extracts open?, I've tried the 2k12 and 3dm mod tool but neither work.

So can anything actually be done in terms of modding with this tool right now, or is it strictly a preview sort of thing?

Right now the tool can only export the .iff files, Not import them.

It seems people that are modder's are just clicking people and don't respect work that is done behind..
Its
*why i cant import or
*why don't you post source-code so i could repack as i did it...I am trying to move editing from blind spot

I think some people are just impatient to get started modding the game, because we've had to start from scratch this year. I don't think some people necessarily mean to be rude, but I absolutely agree, a little appreciation goes a long way.

I for one greatly appreciate your work. Initially, I was one of the more vocal individuals around here about being disappointed with many of 2k's choices in making modding much more difficult this year. I very much regretted even purchasing this on pc instead of just going with the console versions. You sir are helping bring me back off the ledge.

What Andrew said. Again, thank you, and very exciting to continue to track your progress.

Hopefully after some time, i managed to "break" the 2k nonsense on the textures and convert these:

into these:

At least I (for now xD) can preview all the compressed textures in the game properly xD so if anyone has any texture that is eager to see please send it over

Most of the textures are following the newest DX10 format, but with some tweaks i can convert them into legacy formats and not only that. I can take legacy dds formats and turn them into this "garbage" 2k like format in order for the game to use them again

. Nesa has already tried with proper textures and they worked. I don't know if there will be any massive speed gain, but i'll try it eventually

Great work...can you share with us how you made this possible?
I'm exploring 2k15 archives and having this texture viewer would help ^__^

you were able to achieve the above result by using a combination of nesa's software and your own or...?

I'm writing my own explorer

Nesa's explorer is not complete atm and it misses quite some files. In general though its the same thing.

Is that the actual size of the cyberface textures?

TBM wrote:Is that the actual size of the cyberface textures?
I guess not, this should be either the second or the third mipmap of the original texture this is a 512x512 image, so the original should be either 1024x1024 or 2048x2048. When i find the original file, i'll post it for sure.
