Talk about NBA 2K15 here.

Last time somebody took the headband off his head he entered the beast mode.

This hopefully won't even be an issue for PC once we get cyberfaces going, even if it means modders will have to make two separate faces, one with, and one without headband.

Good guess, but what about players with very short or no hair? Maybe it could be locked only for players with longer hair?

Or maybe the NBPA or LeBron legitimately asked for them to not allow it. It's conspiratorial, but it wouldn't surprise me.

tl;dr It's a programming bug that's hard to get around. Leftos needs to sharpen up those C++ skills

What kind of world do we live where we can assign injuries to players different body parts but not add/remove headbands!

I think TGsoGood probably hit the nail on the head:

Hopefully we will be able to mod 3D models early. Hopefully we are still using iff files compatible with RED MC. Then it would make sense to use the facial progression mod for headband/ non-head band models.

IDK the hair clipped through the headbands on last gen and looked funky but we still had the option .

That was then, this is now. Perhaps they want to avoid issues like that, until they can resolve them.
Thu Oct 02, 2014 9:23 am
I suppose so, it just saddens me that we won't able to edit them.
Thu Oct 02, 2014 10:09 am
It's most assuredly a bug. The had issues in 2k14 NG with them disappearing when players changed teams so I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

what?

My boner just died

hey guys, remember how we got next gen on PC? remember that? woo yeah...

Late to the party here but i only just noticed this. I'm making a fictional draft class patch and i can't put headbands on players? Pretty disappointing
Mon Oct 20, 2014 9:06 pm
You can only put headbands on MyPlayers.
Tue Oct 21, 2014 12:23 am
Is there no way to edit tattoos either?
Tue Oct 21, 2014 12:41 am
Only on MyPlayers.

Don't worry I'm sure they'll allow it for 2K16, unlockable via VC payment.

Headbands being taken out was clearly a last minute decision by 2K because they mistakenly left headband hair in (pics taken from prospects in a randomly generated MyLeague draft class).
download/file.php?id=8710download/file.php?id=8711download/file.php?id=8712Those gaps in the hair look conveniently headband sized.
I won't be paying VC for accessories that should've been in the game by default, not this year, nor next year, or any year.

2k15 is all about customization and player freedom, this would go completly against everything we heard so far
so i would highly doubt that need prove to believe that
All about customization and player freedom......except your sock length!!! 2KSports are sock NAZI'S!?!??!?!

Can't put headbands.
Can't edit tattoos.
Can't adjust sock length.
No armpit hair.
2K really dropped the ball this year, especially that last one.
