NBA 2K15 Just for AMD Owners

Fri Oct 17, 2014 9:23 am

Hey guys,

This topic it´s only for AMD Video Cards owners ok? I have a R9 270X and have stuttering with solid 60 FPS. I make some tests here:

1 - NBA 2K15 ignore ALL catalystic options, AA, VSync, Triple Buffer, only AF working (daaam! this is wrong)
2 - Here, programs like D3DOverrider it´s ignored AGAIN for NBA 2K15.

IMO, the problem with the game it´s AA and Vsync, like apears on others 2k, but in last years, catalystic is not ignored by the game. We can set AA for driver on 2K14.

U guys, AMD owners, have the same issues? What GPU u use and what driver uses? I´m here use 14.9 version (29/9/2014).

My second test here.

Game AA is broken....if u put <4AA game stutter is monster and u get a solid 60 FPS anyways. 8XAA FPS down, ok, make sense.

2k or AMD need to fix for DRIVER/CATALYSTIC manager the ANTI ALISING, and not the game.

Yep keep it on 4/4, and triple buffer catalyst, set the config supersampling to 0, and that stuff goes away

Everything is high... except AA and quality

I can do 4/4 4/8 and 4/16... going 8/8 or 8/16 its a little harder but thats about it.

I opened a thread about it as well in the help section... 2k15 is the only game I haven't managed to apply radeonpro on. Anyone knows why is that?

I have an AMD HD 7770 1GB Ghz Edition, I run at about 50 FPS, no stuttering. Also have an AMD FX-6300 with 8GB of GSkill Ares Series RAM:

so medium on texture detail huh?
and do you see any difference from medium to high? I don t, so nothing to worrie about, also texture detail level is not the most biggest fps hog
personally I changed it to max and there is no difference in performance.

I have i3 2100, 750ti and 8gb ram. All player jerseys are shocking so much when I play the match. I don't want to turn down the player details to be medium.

I totally don t understand you bro, you want your player texture detail on high because of what?
It's like you have an offer to choose from 2 shirts with the same quality only one of them has Nike logo, you will take Nike and pay more to seem cooler and to show everyone that you are wearing a brand :D that's just stupid man.

so can you tell from this screen what player texture detail level I have?

twai1012, we are talking about player texture detail not player detail level

Guys, i have a question for us...

I have the Steam Version here and download the piracy now (just for testing)....

THE ILEGAL game running smooth here (with minor stutters) and my ORIGINAL COPY, for playing online have MAJOR STUTTERING. I have stuttering on MENUS with my Steam game...it´s just unbelivable!!!!!!!

I´m very disappointed with this game right now! :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

Not with the 7770. It's an alright card, but it starts having some bad FPS drops for me with I use the highs. I've tried messing around with everything, and this is the most stable I could get it.....for now. Gonna be upgrading my video card next week to an R9 280 3GB 384bit-GDDR5. With all these new games coming out right now and soon down the road, just makes sense for me to upgrade.

I have hd7770 and my player detail is on medium and the jersey is not moving... when im putting it in high detail.. its moving but its lag.... thats what im talking about... that why im worried that im upgrading my processor and still the same details i can get... by the way i have ATHLON 2 x2 right now and im going to buy a FX6300. and i can play with medium player detail and special effect on..
