Need help

I bought a steam copy of the game, and my friend downloaded a 3dmgame csd which is a preload I tried installing it on steam.
It install successfully but it freezes on menu.

Go to your Steam Library, right click nba 2k15, click properties and click "Validate game cache" button.
Wait for it to validate your files, let it redownload any differences and try running the game.

Also try to install c++ redist and dx from game folder.

Thanks will try it soon as I came home.

Before I start the game I saw steam installing c++ and dx.
So I think no need to install it.

EDIT: Soon as I finish installing. I tried to download it, but it will take me forever I cannot wait to play the game. So I just reinstall it. Hope I can get a fix.

Have you tried the usual stuff like having up-to-date gpu (and other) drivers?
What are your PC's specs?

All is up to date.
CPU: Intel i7-4770
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti
RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX Black

UPDATE: It's freezing and if you wait patiently it will proceed but after 3-5 minutes.

i am also experiencing this issue.
Everytime i click on any of the options in the main menu, it freezes right away, i have to wait for 8-10minutes before it will continue loading.
My pc specification:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
processor: Intel Core i3-3220 cpu@ 3.30Ghz
RAM: 8 GB kingston DDR3
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 DDR3 (2GB)
