Random predictions (more funs yay!!):
- I don't think Giannis will make the jump that everyone is anticipating just yet.
-The Cavs will have not only the #1 offense in the league, but the best offense in the past 5 years. And i think the Clippers will be right there with them in terms of offensive production, but only a hair under.
- But I don't think Cavs will win the chip in their first season, unless they suddenly sign someone who can hugely help them on defense. Only elite defenses win playoff series'. I think it's between the Thunder, Clippers & Bulls this season. They have the best combinations of hunger and talent. You just know players like Durant, Paul, Noah, + more, are just BURNING inside to win a title. It's a coin-flip between those 3 teams imo. Bulls are the most stacked of the bunch, but are the most injury prone. And i know we say this every year but i think that this is finally the year that age catches up with the Spurs in the playoffs.
- I don't think Lakers will win more than 30 games.
- 76ers will dominate the tanking game, and are legit candidates to record one of the worst seasons in league history.
- I bet LeBron will aim for DPOY this season, now that there is less offensive load for him to carry. He mentioned he has had that as a personal goal in the past. He wont get it if the Cavs defense is average though. But if by mid-season the Cavs defense is top 10, i'd put money on LeBron winning DPOY. At any rate, it could mean some improved defensive stats from bron this season. Does he still have the explosiveness and energy for racking up steals and blocks though?
- The Pistons will lose their first 2 games of the season and then win their next 4.
- Toronto will win Atlantic division
