My integrated intel graphics has a more decent FPS than my Nvidia Card, so it might really be a driver issue for Nvidia.. :(

Say something else Phreak, that supports your opinion, you got nothing so why you talkin ?
what Is said is common knowledge of the PC gaming industry.... case and point, just the latest example would be to look at the biggest few games recently released of which none have a legitimate updated driver neither from AMD nor Nvidia, let alone SLI and Crossfire profile

Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor
Ryse Son of Rome
Alien Isolation
Dead Rising 3

so no Nightfly, studios don't release "broken" games and let Nvidia AMD fix it... studios release playable games that could be better but most of the time they're a lazy console port so it's up to Nvidia AMD to fine tune their next driver to extract better performance for that specific game..... a lot of it has to do with the fact so many studios make lazy shitty ports from consoles to PC and call it a day....
I don't know if 2K did that or not, I definitely don't think so because if you guys want to see a really bad console port with horrible performance, look at Dead Rising 3, it's performance is horrible on the PC no matter how high end your machine is

sometimes if these game studios have good relationships with either Nvidia or AMD they will work hand in hand in releasing a solid driver from the get go, but most often it works the way I described in paragraph above

I just wanna say a few words that I think I have to say to you and every single member and modder in this forum (my heart and mind wanted me to say it:)), because I've heard you work on this game Leftos...... NBA 2K15 PC... is everything I have ever wanted from a basketball game and that is, to be the same as real basketball..... and for me you guys did it !! I am completely satisfied...happy....with this gameplay and visuals.... I mean you guys did it... you made it. I love the movement, the courts, the players, the coaches, the ball, the passes, the shoots, the dunks, the layups, the alley-ops, the collisions, the crossovers, the hesitation, the dribble animations.
I mean, I don't know how you guys did it, but I think every player in this game is real... I mean Lebron moves like Lebron.... Melo is Melo.... Harden is Harden.....and all other superstars move like they are real.... their movements, their shots, dribbles it's like THEY ARE COMPLETLY REAL MAN !!! FUCK !! I CANT BELIEVE IT SOMETIMES... even guys like Tyreke Evans, Victor Oladipo, Nerlens Noel, Lance Stephenson and others they come as real as the real nba ! :) I'm just so happy.... because I play NBA games... since NBA Live 2000..... and every year is like I don't like this, this,this..... and since 2k9 came for PC, basketball is upgraded every year.. and now NBA 2K15 comes out.... and for me THIS IS IT !!!! I THINK THIS IS THE BEST THAT IT CAN GET ! and just wanna congratulate you and your colleagues and everybody that loves NBA games and basketball, every single modder from here of course for every NBA 2K, they have modded through the years. I appreciate you guys a lot ...Leftos, jaosming, Andrew and every single modder from this forum that makes every NBA 2K game better !! Now let's celebrate NBA 2K15 !

You couldn't have said it any better. I am as amazed as you are by the game. Its just looks so good (Y) (Y) and am fine with other minor setbacks and the usual suspects (online still sucks :D). I like the game so much that I've finally decided to upgrade my 1080p monitor (16:10 aspect ratio) to 1440p monitor (16:9 aspect ratio), since I am quite sure that the aspect ratio issue (stretched out image for monitors with 5:4, 16:10 aspect ratios) is not a patch-able thing.

skoadam wrote:ive got question? users with high end graphic card like 780/970/980, can u please tell me how much ghz runs your cpu?

Tomorrow when I get back home I can check it. What actually are you willing to see? What is the max ghz the game squeezes out of the processor? I am quite sure it hits 100% at times, so its rather pointless. RAM amount/speed and timings also might be an interesting issue to look at. I have rare samsung ram sticks (they came cheap as fuck since the seller was not aware what he had :D, but they are as fast as some superoverpriced ramkits by corsair and so on) that are great overclockers running on low timings, so that also helps to squeeze the best out of it.

bro...... I like this game so much that i changed my video card from Nvidia GF 740 to Gigabyte GTX 980..... I haven't changed my video card since 2008. THIS is how much I like this game !

Noxxys said in steam forums a solution that worked for me:

"I fixed my stuttering issue by switching to "fullscreen windowed" mode. It was occurring in fullscreen mode with or without Vsync"

Hope it helps. Easy and fast (Y)

:D I can definitely relate to that (Y). Next step is 16:9 aspect ratio monitor :D, so that you wouldn't have those annoying movie like black bars around the screen.

I had an issue where the game would stop for about 3-4 seconds every few minutes. I fixed it completely by going to the nVidia control panel and turning Antialiasing Transparency from 8X Supersample to Multisample. It might also be okay on 2X or 4X.

Re: Request for feedback regarding micro-stuttering

Human eye perceives (around) 25 fps as smooth. Problem with games is, that framerate tends to change. Thats why movies have 25 or 24.5 fps - the framerate is constant.
60fps is just a common refresh rate for displays, but if you own for example 75hz display, then 60fps mark is totally useless for you.
So framerate limiting is used to get rid oh huge fps changes - rather than having around 200fps normally with somewhat common drops to 100fps, you limit it to the 100 to create smooth stream.

Works for me!

AMD Phenom II X4 965 @3.8 GHz

GTX 760

8 GB RAM

Everything in-game on max. In nvidia control panel, I have "Let application decide".

60 FPS during gameplay.. nice!

Intel Core i5-2520M @ 2.50GHz
GT 635M DDR3 2GB
8GB ram

my gameplay is laggy.. worst with cutscenes...

is it my notebook spec? or is it microstuttering?

no man, just 740.... it was pain in the ass with 2K15... BUT now..... with Gigabyte GTX 980 :) it's f*******g ridicilious :) I have just a little bit of micr-stuttering, so I decided to try overclocking and..... that thing just touch the sky :) NO MICRO-STUTTERING..... it's like you play on XBOX-1 or PS4..... however I heard that overclocking it's not good for the CPU and the GPU, so I will play it without overclocking mu GPU, because it's a lot better, than before..... I think I made finally a great future investment. I'm very happy now I feel the full enjoyment of this game :)

Interesting you guys talking about the micro stutters and audio. Early last year, I had been playing NBA 2k13 on my PC with no issues until I bought some Creative headphones (Tactic 3D alpha IIRC). When using the USB sound card that it comes with I'd get these kinds of issues; typically every 5 or 10 seconds a quick stutter. It happened only in this game. I tried everything to fix it but no go. Ended up getting different headphones.

Btw, after spending many hours testing different settings I've got the got running great. Specs below, though I don't remember all the settings.

Core i5 4670k (Haswell)
Older video card, AMD 5870 2 GB
8 GB RAM

I'll grab all my settings if anyone needs help. Lastly, I just received my new video card today (AMD R9 280).

We're watching feedback closely and wanted to say thank you for all the contributions. We're working on fixing the issue for as many configurations as possible. Don't have an ETA yet, but I'll keep you updated as I have more info.

This is the only thing that worked for me, but it did like a charm:

Yea you should thank us haha

I've seen some brilliant solutions in this thread, ESPECIALLY the task manager/affinity one! Its almost as though 2k devs have accounts here.... :cheeky:

God damn the word 'micro' doesn't even apply here.

Playing a full season game, 12 min qtrs. and pretty much with 4 minutes left in each qtr the game just chugs like a freaking stop motion animation.

My Specs should be laughing at this game:
i7 3770 4.1GHz
16GB system ram
Titan 6gb video ram

Game settings, max @1920x1080. Tried every Vsync option both in-game and in the Nvidia CP and tried every AA setting as well. No difference.
