PSA: MyPARK Controller

I asked in the office about the issue where you can't use the Gamepad in MyPARK, and I was told that if you navigate the menus to go into MyPARK using the gamepad you want to use in it, that's the controller we'll use. If you navigate into MyPARK using Keyboard and Mouse, you'll be locked to that. I tried it and it appears to work, but I'm looking for feedback if that doesn't work for you.

We're working on a fix to alleviate this inconvenience, but this should work for now.

i dont want to make angry another two guys on the court but im pretty sure i was using only pad before MyPark, will check soon and let you know. My second match i tried, i was thinking about this solution, so i use only pad. To be clear Leftos. When i was inside park i can run using pad, but when i join court and real match start i cant move with my pad, only keyboard. But when i launch menu, i can navigate there using pad. And when match is over i cant run around park with pad again. Is this clear enough?

I don't touch the keyboard or the mouse in game, only to prevent the screen sleep. It's a bug, not our issue. I have a second one plugged in that I don't even look at and when a park match starts it's the only controller working.

If I could actually get online (or get 2k support to answer my ticket) I would be happy to confirm this or not.

I read on steam forums that someone said if you click the little gamepad icon in the top right of your steam window (before launching the game) it takes you into their full screen mode. Supposedly, you can launch the game from there using your gamepad, and it will work properly in myPark.

I'd test it too, but... can't get online for over 2 days now. stuck in offline mode. Tried everything I could on my own. Can't get support. 5 day old ticket :/

My Controller disconnected in one Game in MyPark and when I reconnected it, I could not do anything. Had to restart the Game to get it working again.

The best solution is having your controller on before you enter the game. This problem is common with the XBOX 360 Wireless controllers because those turn off automatically. You then can turn on them in the game, but when you play online another controller is chosen by the game. Just make sure that they are on before enter the game and that solves the problem for now.

One problem I've been having is that when I receive the ball in the half court (like when the guy check's it to me) the only command that works is a pass. Meaning I can't take my guy off the dribble, jab step, pump fake, shoot or anything.

no, my pad is always active, i use only pad from the begin to the end, never turn off and my third match looks the same. Soon no1 will play with me. Already meet NLSC member in my team so that was my last test, waiting for fix. Its unplayable mode.

leftos my problem is that when i play my park i only have keyboard right so basically when i play my park my controls from the ones i set in controller config

arrow keys=movement changes to w,a,s,d=movement
z=pass spacebar=pass
x= shoot 2= shoot
c=rebound/block 3=rebound/block

so thats really wierd and confusing can you let them know so tha they fix it so it uses the controls u set and use for every game mod i kinda mastered it but i cant use pro stick or use the pass modifier to throw lobs or flashy passes or anything please let the devs know to fix this this goes for all keyboard users

Exactly, I'm sure they did it this way to avoid being teamed with a guy that doesn't pass. Not fair to the team players but overall it's for the best.

And people, we know we have to have the controller plugged or turned on before we start the game, but this is not the case, this is a clear and obvious bug, the last mouse or keyboard input was to launch the game, the rest was all gamepad.
Somehow when syncing the online match the primary controller gets disabled and it falls on whatever you have as secondary, if you have two pads, it'll fall on the second, one pad on the keyboard, and just keyboard on a different preset.

leftos, I just got into this problem. The fix said was not working for me. Hoping for a patch soon. I wanna burn these newbs in park
