I made a twitter account just to bash ronnie2k about a patch for us pc players. I need some support behind me. Console players are bashing ronnie2k as well for a patch/server problem so we pc user must do the same.


FLOOD HIS TWITTER PAGE WITH PC REQUEST/PATCHES.

This is gets us nowhere bashing him will not get a response or a fix to our issues so stop doing it it's pointless.

There's speaking your mind, and there's "let's flood Ronnie's Twitter until he takes action!". That's stupidity, and it's childish. It's a thought that I hope no adult would deem as reasonable or well thought out. If you feel that spamming and flooding somebody's Twitter is the appropriate and wise avenue to incite change, then I'm not sure what to tell you. We can't have any semblance of an educated conversation, regardless of where we're from.

The game has been out for 5 days. We have been asked by a 2K Developer to report and try different things to address what appears to be the primary complaint about the PC version of the game. One who is a member of our actual community. It's the very definition of support. I'd like to think that, because of this, we can all operate under the assumption that the powers that be at 2K are currently in the process of working on something that will fix the problem for those who are experiencing it. I can't imagine that flooding somebody's Twitter process will speed up this process, can you? If so, I would love to hear your rationalization behind it, because it would need to stem from fantasy.

If you think that flooding Ronnie's Twitter is what sparks any action at 2K, then that is the most naive, childish train of thought that I've ever heard, yes. I can safely say that his Twitter being flooded has zero effect on what and how fast things happen at 2K. They're a large corporation, looking to turn profits. They act as quickly as possible, once they are aware of issues. If you think Ronnie is sitting there like, "Oh man, look at these guys who keep posting on my Twitter! Let me make sure things get done faster!!" then you're grossly overestimating your own power of influence.

As for your stuttering issues, hopefully we will have an answer soon. Until then, I would check out the few threads we have going here and check out all of their suggested tweaks, that have worked to varying degrees, for many users, as at least a temporary alleviation to the issue. That would be the intelligent course of action to take.

If something is wrong and not complies with the requirements i back to the shop and talk about this. 2k is a company, Ronnie is one of the guy from this company, twitter is one of the way to communicate, so why not? The fact that you can't grasp the negativity associated with spamming/flooding, and can only see potential, fantasy-based positives, mean you are ill equipped to even have this conversation. If you know for a fact that the 2K Devs have reached out to the community for specific feedback with the specific issue, and are actively working on a fix, and you feel that flooding the Twitter of another person who happens to be associated with the game is going to yield a positive result, and speed up the process, then you have the mental capacity of a spoiled child. Period. I understand you have a history of not being able to understand concepts such as this, but I'm really trying to lay it out there as simple as possible. This is not high level thought, here.

bigh0rt, this will be last post where i try to discuss with you. 2k is clever company, they know how much they can lost in this year and in future, because believe me or not, EA is just around the corner, not this year, not in two years but they are close. In first week in a whole web you can read about problems with this game. Tech problems. Preordered copies are sold but what now? some users will bought this anyway, but many users read articles, forums and start to wonder, should i buy it right now? So, how they cant reach for community? they cant afford this, they must and want to do this. I dont know why this game meet so many problems, from my point of view its problem with beta testing, we are beta testers, we find bugs, we gives our thoughts, find solutions etc. Ofc at the end this game will have to be fixed by 2k.

It's about SNR, signal-to-noise ratio. If my feed is flooded with spam and the same complaint, all I'm doing is hiding and blocking spammers instead of going through trying to find all legitimate complaints and suggestions and pass them on.

You're making his life harder, which in turns makes it harder for him to give us all the feedback that's out there. Spamming the issue will possibly lead it to be ignored, and cost you the privilege of direct communication with 2K.

Seeing calls to action such as this saddens me. I had a core engineer come to my office and ask me to reach out to the community to help him track down the issue and fix it as soon as possible, and you're talking feed flooding. Flood my inbox too while you're at it, I'm sure that will help too.

No, flooding Ronnie's feed wasn't what got things done. We're keeping an eye on any and all issues, and we rely on Ronnie in part to give us community feedback. So making his job and life harder makes all of our jobs harder. You're not helping.

Want to help? Post feedback in a concise manner (using the bugs thread and its template, for example) and contribute to conversation.

so, for now 2k have no idea why huge amount of pc players payed for unplayable product? emails from 2k suggest the same, only advice - "check your drivers, direct x , bla bla bla... " only thing that community could say about "can't even start the game" issue, is that even after reinstalling whole windows and other stuff game just stops without even popping up an error. micro stuttering issue on high end pc's - this game had beta testers right? or beat was only for consoles version?

Leftos, i cant blame you about online issue past earlier years, but i do 2k, with 3MB download and upload right now i have HUGE lags in 2k15, matchmaking is terrible, i feel like im playin with dudes from asia or usa. When i add this to 5 last year multiplayer experience ive got right to be very very angry right? You are still gamer right? u must know what im talking about.
About tech problems with 2k15, do you guys consider problem with nvidia drivers? because right now many of us dont know what to do with this game. Should we consider buying new GPU, adding more ram. Because right now 2k15 is exclusive product only for HIGH END(and still some weird drops) spec and i will inform every person with mid spec i meet here there is no chance to run this smooth, just to protect them from my situation im right now. I preordered this game and i dont feel good with this.

Guys, we need to show the 2k dev team more respect. I understand you're frustrated that a product you paid for doesn't work like you expected, but you have to understand how lucky we are to finally have direction communication with the dev team. You need some perspective: For my most active years here at NLSC 2002-2008ish we never had any direct contact with the devs. Having a developer post, or even READ, our forums was literally just a dream.

It is a HUGELY positive thing for the future of the game for us to be able to give direct feedback. They are actually giving us more than we realize by putting their time into community involvement. However if we send them negative vibes constantly then they will grow tired of it and cut communication off.

Please remember that they are human too. They are not some stone-cold corporate business that is trying to rip us off. This game is made by NBA lovers just like us. Treat them as if you would treat a respected modder. Suggestions are fine. Bug reporting is fine. Constructive feedback is fine. But don't make things personal, or spam them, or place so much blame on them, or be rude or abrasive in general. drivers by themselves can't cause this amount of issues pc version has. that is 100% the way it is.

this game needs pc patch first, then we can talk about new drivers. drivers can give you few fps boost, nothing more. but this game has programming issues in pc code and it needs to be addressed via 2k and patch for pc version.

it would be much easier and useful for both parites (2k and pc community/fans) if they had released pc demo first one month ago.
